I wish people would stop calling towns cities . When i was growing up Towns where called towns until the population reached 25 or 30 thousand then and only then they were called a CITY .
I can completely understand your emotions at leaving Antarctica. It’s how this planet should be, way less humans and lots more of nature in all it’s beauty. Can you imagine how the astronauts that travelled into space and looked back on the earth felt when they returned to the chaos of earth.
you missed going to the driftwood cafe much better than mamas or the cafe right in town that you went to, , mama has an attitude ab]nd gave me chit for trying to charge my computer after I ordered food and a coffee, I was shocked when she cut me off charging, but he town is great stop there every month as I travel through.

I was an ECE teacher and we were taught to use positive language. Instead of, “don’t go off the cliff, don’t go in the ditch”, try, “Stay on the road”. It might have help your anxiety next time. Glad you are ok.

I've been traveling the country for a little over a year, Me and my 2 dogs, have been in T or C for quite a few months Im very hesitate about leaving we have felt very comfortable here Sooo dog friendly and human frendly food prices are good, so I guess time will tell if we stay awhile or leave tomorrow 🤔🤠

There’s public transit from the ferry to Victoria. It picks up immediately as you exit the terminal. Or there’s a coach service offered in the ferry. You sign up and pay for when on the ferry. They are only open for the first 30minutes of the ferry ride, so booking right away is best if that’s how you want to go. And it takes you right downtown.
You made a really good investment in developing kayaking skills, and as you progress, youll be rewarded with things youll never imagine. Be safe, and Im looking forward to seeing where your paddle takes you. Especially if you are in BC :)
