What about discs for video games? How does it pick up the information that is permanently on the disc despite each play through being different and you controlling what happens?

Well, I was totally wrong. I thought DVD players copied the data on a disk, placed it into a streaming chip (or as I call it: a Thingey) and spewed it out like an mp4 on a jump drive. Hmm. Maybe I'm on to something.
