New for 2024, I'm jumping on the vlogging band waggon. Me (Mark) and the family in our VW T6 Camper going on adventures, camping, hiking and giving our honest opinions on things.
Also I may delve into my job which is car delivery driving a Transporter Engineering Oddessy driven by a DAF. Vlogging daily routes up & down and around Britain delivering cars here and there.
@@Tuftyonthetube thanks for watching, you have to take sat navs with a pinch of salt mate. Although you can set them for bridge height, you can't set them for low trees. Trees cause major damage to cars, so experience is a massive factor I suppose..

Just came across you last night mate. With Arnold Clark at the moment moving to the transport department, reverse test Wednesday & practical on Friday, hopefully get the licence secured and good to go 🤞🏻
Hi good videos m8.. My dad use to drive a 11 car transporter with 5 cars on the lorry and 6 cars on the drag. Was one over the cab on the peck one behind it and 3rd one kicked up then behind the cab backed a car on and drove the last one on witch was kicked up then 2 cars on each deck on the drag.. That was with Autocars transporters back in the day... Iv thought about getting a job at ECM as they are 30 minutes from me got 18 years class one under my belt..
What is you max loading capacity with one of these type transporters? So how much payload weight for the vehicles loaded? And i'm guessing it may get to being a few less cars on there if they are EV with the weight of them, is that a consideration ever?
@@TheTransporterGuyVw How stable do you find them to drive? I guess it comes down to loading and trying to have more weight at the bottom, but i was out on the M6 the other day and went past a lad who had only 3 cars on transporter like this one and they were all on the top deck!! and it was raised up! I was thinking it looked well ropey like that. I know how a double deck trailer feels when it is heavy loaded on top deck, not cleaver is how 🙂
@@TheTransporterGuyVw Not yet.....we are still living in the van......hopefully the house will be sorted in the next week and the previous owners have kept them for us!
Just a quick question. Going to see Derek on Monday about potential job offer at Bathgate depo on class 2 ridgid mon - Fri a take it the class 2 guys are more local work than up and down country?
Noticed your sleeper cab looks tiny and sparsely equipped, take it that's the norm for the car transporters of that type? Looks like a long overhang at the back of your trailer as well. What's it like to drive compared to a normal artic in regards to trailer cut it and when you turn right or left on tight junctions how far can that overhang at the back swing out into other lanes? You find it easier or more difficult that normal articulated units? Edit. Doesn't look like there's a lot of room to bring stuff if you're tramping all week.
Well done Mark!! Amazing walk and amazing effort. Beautiful views and what a delicious looking Steak and ale pie. Love the vids and I’ve been watching since the beginning.
Hello mate, passed my class one licence last Friday, yous are based about 5 mile from my house do you know if they ever take on new passes? Great content
Thanks for watching, yeah they have known to start new starters based in Consett on a 5 car rigid and then progressed to 11+. Keep applying, someone will give you a chance
