Thanks for the info...this is my first time here. So, I was able to catch a few surf perch here. My go to spot for surf perch is usually in the Morro Bay area. Do you know if there's any halibut in this area?
@@edkonvang I don't know about Sunset halibut, but they can be caught off beaches in the Santa Cruz area.. I have fished Morro Bay with limited success.

Thank you for cleaning up the trash. I was there about 2 weeks ago maybe like 50 feet to the right of where you were. My family and I like to go to this lake and camp by the campsites you passed by. It gets me very angry to see how lazy people are to clean up there trash, I too have seen piles of garbage and pick it up because I enjoy it being clean and nice for us and everyone else to enjoy the water or fish. What a shame that people can’t clean up for themselves especially with how much things they go with they need a car to haul that and they can’t even take it back. SMH 🤦

I'm using Okuma Celilo 6' 6" rod. I got this rod from Sportsman's Warehouse in Fresno. It work's great for small fish such as bass, panfish, trout and crappie.

The reason the rods cross in the centre of the craft is so they are not in the way of your paddle. I realize that you've bought the single person recently, having watched that mod also. Question for you... how do you find the differences between the two, in performance and operation?
Sorry, I never had the Intex Excursion K1 so I wouldn't be able to tell you the differences. I had the Intex Excursion K2 but I only use one seat. So, that's probably why you think I have a K1 but it's not.
I use a variety of sizes, depending on how strong the water current is. If the current is fast, then I will use a 1/8 oz. Or 1/2 oz. sinker with carolina rig. If the water current is slower, I use split shot.
Fished the kings river once and gave up, current was too strong and didn’t know what to use. Any tips such as line weight and what you using? Any size limit?
