The Taxpayer Advocate Service (TAS) is your voice at the IRS. An independent organization within the IRS, TAS helps taxpayers resolve problems with the IRS and recommends changes to prevent those problems. TAS is led by Erin Collins, the National Taxpayer Advocate.
