Ray's father, Apache, dabbled with obsidian on occasion and when his brother Ted saw the Crabtree film in college and came home with new enthusiasm. Ray made extra money selling modern arrowheads and doing minor artifact restoration and replication all through school, having classified ads in many magazines. He attended CSUN where he studied under Clay Singer in the Lithics lab at the Northridge Archaeological Research Center. In 1983 started the Flintknapping Digest, this latter became "CHIPS" under Val Waldorf. Later that year Ray founded the California Flintknapping Rendezvous and the following year started the Wrightwood Knap In with his long time friend, Dr. Alton Safford. The Wrightwood Knap In Video was the first or one of the first videos ever sold. Since the early 1980s Ray has written the self published book," The History Of Modern Flintknapping" and dozens others. Western Lithics World Notching Contest and Hall of Fame founder as well Flintknapping Magazine Blog.

Ruling out a suit, it's real.
@Aran.Rinzei

@robertcoggeshall3071 show me the peer-reviewed scientific paper with irrefutable scientific evidence that proves Patty was real. Can you do that because I know you can't therefore NO matter how real the subject in the Patterson film appears, no matter how much muscle movement you think you see, or how unhuman you claim the gait is, the subject has no corroborating specimen, and can therefore be no more than a question mark. The film has always been, is, and likely always will be an unsettled controversy.

@@Aran.Rinzei there's been lots of analyses on the film, explaining how it's likely not a suit. Only 1 other choice.

That's not what I asked. Can you show me the peer-to-peer reviewed paper with collaborating irrefutable scientific evidence that proves the Patty was a real female Sasquatch. Can you do that, yes or no, because it's a simple question

At 0:56 the aqua blue point was knapped from a glass telegraph insulator. True skill as this is the most brittle glass.

I took classes with Callahan for over several years till his passing in 2019. He was a master flintknapper no doubt I saw his collection and library. Truly a great teacher there weren’t to many people apprenticing under him then but he taught me everything I know about it. It’s something I will always remember for the rest of my life.

Hi, this is Jeff Harwood. And with absolutely nothing but respect, none of us who have looked into this subject have EVER started out thinking they can cloak, use portals, become orbs etc. WE UNDERSTAND HOW NUTS THAT SOUNDS. YES IT SOUNDS 🦇💩 CRAZY! But when something 4 ft wide steps behind a 6 inch tree and is GONE, what else have you got? Ad for the orbs, Im not convinced they are one in the same. They're related, but Ive never heard of anyone seeing one become the other. But they have conclusive proof. Melba Ketchum has hundreds of DNA samples. But again, when you hear something walking right in front of you, yet you see NOTHING, and they step behind a tree and poof they're gone, what else have you got?

It appeared to be great information about Crabtree but the text moved to fast on the screen , it was interesting that it was done in the style like in the opening credits of the earlier Star Wars .
