I have considered buying one of these but am told that on the Nissan Frontier you have to remove the tailgate rail protector. Seems like the rear window would be made to just shut down across it.
Can you please help me with this question . I have 2021 bighorn with 5.5 bed . My friend about a 110 miles away giving me his leer cover 5.5 came out of 2011 ! I don’t want to go all the way until I’m sure would it fit mine ? I would appreciate the help . Best regards
Do not buy one of these. I had it damage a brand new truck. Took the paint right off the tailgate. It's leaked like a siv. Been back to the dealer 8 times and still leaks. Don't waist your money.
Mr Chad Rice I am going to be ordering a 122truck cap and I do not want the bay windows in the cap I was wanting the slider windows from the front to the rear of the cap can this be done. I need to know before I order it please respond back and let me know thank you I just seen the windows that are one piece and twist out
I don't understand why leer doesn't make that model truck cap for my 2008 3500HD dually just the 100r is only available which I don't like because of the framed side windows are not flush with the truck cap like the 100xl
is it me or does nobody want to see the full view of the canopy, no shots with windows open / closed and better shots from the inside facing out. , maybe some gear inside. At least they had a young boy scrape the canopy with his canoe and strip down for us. that really sold me.
Does anyone know if a cap for a 2014 gmc Serra will fit a 2016 ram. Both have the same length bed. Someone local is selling one and I really want it. But there’s no phone number to contact leer.
Hi I have 2014 Toyota Tundra edition and I have the Leer bed cover like the top video. I removed it a few years ago but I want to it back on to the truck but I forgot how to do it. I have the bed cover but I think I miss or lost something because there’s should be 4 holes at the front and 4 holes at the back but I can’t find any hole the Will connect the bed to the truck. Do you know what I miss or lost it? Like maybe a brackets or something? I really don’t know. I’m ready to order of what I need . Thanks for the help
You need 4 clamp like clamps there aluminum and pinch the side of the bed to the side of the tonneau inside. Just imaging your pinching the two together. There is a lip on the tonneau that prevents slipping off
2018 MY. 2016 F150 Regular cab. Unit leaks horribly. Distributor tried tons of gasketing twice after Leer told to go-to them. Still didn't work. Took forever again to get a hold of Leer rep. Told me to take pictures. Two dozen sent on thumb drive. Never heard back. Had a Leer on my old 2002 never leaked. Bad door design never fully covered tailgate. Rubber seats didn't even extend all the way down. Will never buy another Leer. My duct tape job stops a lot but still ridiculous. For the money it's just a poor product.
I have tried to buy a leer for the last month. The local dealer doesn’t return email doesn’t return phone calls. I’m at a. Complete loss for the distributor, I have emailed leer no reply . I’m amazed with business as it is w/ COVID you would think they are interested in selling a shell. But I guess not. So off to the next
Leer customer service and quality control is terrible. I purchased the Leer 122 and the windows leaked and one side window would not latch. I called the truck shop who installed it and they didn't know how to fix it. Leer website contact section doesn't work. They never responded to my emails. I had the truck shop where I ordered the Leer camper top provide me with his Leer local sales rep. I called and informed him of the issue. The Leer sales rep even admitted the Leer web site contact email doesn't work. I had the Leer camper top shipped back to Leer manufacturing plant for repairs. They shipped it back and it still leaks! My camper top was purchased in June, 2020
@@derekdohrman Leer is owned by Truck Accessories Group, LLC (TAG) which also owns SNUGTOP, Century and Pace Edwards truck covers. I haven't had dealing with the other TAG companies but I would steer clear of LEER.
