Thank you. This helped me realize how to utilize CH3 (for LED lighting) & CH4 (for for 2 speed transmission). I had NO idea that the DT SW. value had to go to 2P for a 2 pos. sw.!! Again, THANKS!
i know this video is old, and the 3PM is even older, but I'm still using this old unit, and I couldn't have figured out how to shift my Tamiya F350 without you, so thanks a ton!!!
I know its been several years since you posted this video but my question is would it be possible to program a button on this radio as a Transbrake on a drag car?
Great Video. I have the same remote but i wanted to make the 3ch a kill switch. I noticed that you set it on to P3 but i dont need to have a trim. I just want it to work like a switch any tips would be helpful.
Hello, I bought the Futaba 4PL, but I can not set the brake, as my car only goes forward and backward, but can not find the brake possibly be something easy and basic, you can help me please with video , ...possibly, I'm doing something wrong in settings. Thank you.
I'm suddenly having issues with my controller. When I turn the steering sharp left or right & slowly release it the servo jumps sharply in the opposite direction, midway through the slow release. Tried a glitch buster but it didn't work. Happened to the old servo & now the new one. Controller is Futaba 4pl. Servo is Savox Corless.
Another small updated point for the 4pls, @0:42 the the reference to ch4 is incorrect, the 4pls needs your chosen DT switch set to ESC-MD to get it to cycle through the modes fwd/4wd/rwd.
Minor point for those coming here from RCC using the later model 4PLS @0:25 where he references "DT/DL" the 4PLS menu has "SW/DIAL" to access the DIGI TRIM menu for setting you DT switches.
mine its working bad after less than a year of racing, and i know how to trim and treat a servo, its a crap or i just got a bad one. Check my channel and you will se what im talking about
You need a pan hard bar if you are going to put the servo on the frame. Look them up on eBay Google images or RU-vid videos they work very well even for crawling. Look at the new vaterra K5 crawler it uses a pan hard bar on the front. Otherwise you have to put the servo on the axle case itself
I gotta tell you. This helped me HUGE. I've been screwing around with this thing trying to set it up for a buddy of mine for his winch. Have you used this for a winch yet? Do you have a need for an external controller such as a Heyok controller? Thanks a ton, great video! Eric
