The 200t is a great saw.. but this one definitely seems to come out on top. Certainly happy I went with it as the 200t was the other choice when I was purchasing

Tighten your chain

Tighten up that chain a bit, otherwise it'll fly off.

The X-Cut SP21G chain is actually made by Oregon unlike all the other X Cut Husqvarna chains which they manufacture themselves in their own factory. I'd tension your chain a bit, you try pruning stuff up aloft and it'll flip out :(

That's good to know, part of me had thought they might be when I was looking for what other options were out there besides the Husqvarna. I have seen the speedcut nanos for a couple dollars less but all the options seem to dance around the 20ish dollar mark. I also seem to think I saw them in packs listed on ebay that were a good price.

Yeah it really shows. Had to Re-tension like 6 times on the first run. Even flew off once.

So...what's the point? The T540XPMk2 is a great saw. I noticed the pull starting here, hardly reassuring! - I just press a button and I'm off with a T540iXP. No messing with fuel/possible spillage/air filters/spark plugs/fuel filters/ choke starting/pull starting etc etc. I think Husqvarna should concentrate on refining their battery power tools. Two stroke petrol needs to go.

The Mark 2 is definitely a great saw as well as this one is too. Truthfully I believe it was user error in this case as I haven't had an issue with it since however I wanted to display that it occurred. (started like this cold twice on me and not since.) As to the question of the point - The battery stuff is great, I mean absolutely great!! and I personally only have experience with Ryobi electric stuff but it's been wonderful abused it and has consistently performed the convenience can't be matched ect.. This is all based on access to charging and a battery infrastructure. For my use case it will be for emergency disaster work and for various reason fuel is more convenient than battery as well as the Mark 3 has a tad bit more power. So it is certainly use case dependent but for mine there was a clear choice to go with fuel over electric.

A little odd. Mine usually starts 1st pull

It happened like that to me one time another day and other than that it's been about 3 pulls to start the first time of the day then pretty much one pull after that
