The GatewayToAirguns Forums is an internationally known and recognized airgun forum consisting of members from all over the world. It was initiated by both Gene Curtis and Bob Werner aka: CharlieDaTuna in May of 2005 and has grown to what is now believed to be the second largest (if not THE largest) airgun forum on the internet. Even if we may not be the largest airgun forum YET, we are as Gene says "A Cut Above The Rest!!!"
The forum consists of a number of divisions and sub-divisions referred to as “Gates” that include the Airgun Gate that is informational for airguns in general, Gamo Gate referring to Gamo Airguns, China Gate referring to Chinese Airguns, Crosman Airguns and Benjamin Airguns Gate, a gate for Airgun Mods, an Airgun Classified section, an Airgun Hunting Gate as well as a Target Shooting and Target Match Gate and more. There is even a GTA Airgun Library and the GTA Airgun Mall We also boast our own Airgun Photo Gallery called the GTA Media Gate. This location works as
I don’t understand why there is an off button under the start button-? You are turning it off by using the breaker off switch- that off button under the start doesn’t even turn it off i believe.
Hi love this gun ,I believe they have moved the safety next to the trigger on the later version ,I’m saving for it as I speak ,nice dogs very playful ,typical labs great video thanks
Hey Haji great video. I'm torn between this and the Barra 1100z. A couple videos show the Barra making a very strange noise with every shot. Can you tell me is the cocking lever on the Origin made of metal? Appreciate any info!
Travis made a very pertinent point. Living around the Mt. Shasta area with snow and power outages. I live in Tornado Alley. We are familiar with power failure also. Tornadoes sorry to say, bring out looters. The Origin.22 shooting 23 grain hollow point H&N slugs will eliminate looters without freaking out the neighbors like my 9mm Baretta or the ol' standby Browning model 5. So, come on in and get ventilated. 21st Century home defense redefined.
You described the Ever Pressure Tank system as simple, smart and effective. There's a word for those attributes. ELEGANT! I just purchased one of these, and couldn't be happier. I'm one of those guys that people describe as "rangy", six foot, but only about a hundred and sixty pounds fully dressed and soaking wet. I barely have enough body weight to put 250 bar in the gun, and love the fact that the "sweet spot" comes in at actually about 2,900 PSI. I can hunt all day, have rabbit fried, roasted and in stew for a week, without even taking the pump to the woods. I've also discovered the absolute most satisfying targets for plinking at 40 yards. Get yourself a dozen golf tees and a bag of the cheapest .68 cal paintballs you can find. They splatter into colored fog when you hit 'em with JSB EXACT heavies at 18.13 grains running over 800 fps. Great fun!
can you help ? can you tell me that is there any o ring inside the air cylinder????? I give my gun to a local gun smith and when i received my gun it is leaking air slowly very slowly , it takes 4 or 5 hours to leak 30 bar air. i opened the cylinder and and seeing no o ring inside the air cylinder. Please help , I am your subscriber.
I have two, one in .22 for two years now and recently bought a .25. I really like these things. I do wonder about resealing at later date. I own other PCP's , C02 ,springers and multi pumps. I cannot find anything online about fixing leaks or even how to get to the poppet valve. I would like to do my own repairs in the future and We know that eventually they will need repair. Thanks for the great video, I just hope that these are not "disposable air rifles.
Hill says it can top up bottles up to 7 liters in sessions and a 4 liter bottle from empty in 1 session. That's a big BIG difference with what Rick states in this video. So what is it?
Hey, JBHK. Saw your comment and thought I would chime in, hope you don't mind. Take this with a grain of salt, as my compressor has not arrived yet. However, after researching this unit extensively, I would say this compressor is NOT designed to fill bottles of 7 liters; that's not to say it could not do it. However, anything over 4 liters will require multiple sessions, meaning the unit will self shut off due to heat constraints/parameters in the programming. When it reaches its heat upper limit, it will shut off until cool enough to proceed. I think you would be hard pressed to fill a 4 liter bottle in one session.
@@daveyJ213 Thanks for your reply David. And yes I agree, the compressor will shut off several times, as it was designed to do. But what I think Rick misinterprets is the fact that shutting down is a normal part of the filling process, it doesn't mean that you are filling something you shouldn't. I got my unit a few days ago and it works like a charm. Topping of guns and small bottles is not a problem, filling up my 6.8 liter bottle isn't a problem as well. Yes it pauzes several times when I fill it form zero to 300 bar, just like the tire compressor installed in my car. Shutting down is just a part of a safe filling proces. Rick shouldn't say it isn't designed to fill bottles because it is, it's designed for bottles up to 7 liters, stated by Hill itself and recently tried by me. 😉 I saw several reviews Rick did about the Rex-P/Rifle platform and how he loves it. His positive review convinced me to but the Rex rifle in .357 online without trying it and yes, it was an awesome gun. But in all his reviews Rick failed to mention that with buying the rex-p/rifle big bore platform, you get the "worst trigger group on the planet". It's a heavy, grindy, nonpredictable, gutless pull that makes me hate my otherwise awesome Rex. I always smile when he says "we tell you the facts, not fluff".
@@mrsensibletimewastingarrog4185 Thank you sir. So far, haven't purchased a bottle yet. Still filling directly to the gun. However, it's good to know this information. Much appreciated.
Hi sir, this is Jill Blake from a gun gear brand. I am attracted by your performance in YTB and sincerely invite you to make a review video. If you are interested, please leave me your email. Then I will send you some products to see. Looking forward to your early reply.
Not a lot of reviews on any of their guns yet. Virtually no reviews on .25 caliber, and almost nothing on fpe. Just general statements that gun could be used for hunting. You mentioned you were going to do a chrony test, but nothing in this video. Is there another video with those results and fpe supplied?
I've been having this one in my sight ever since I saw the very first picture of it, a while before it's release. And it has still been on my mind. Recently very often. Soon probably the time to actually buy one. No video/review bad enough to push me away from it. I like the compact design and easy polymer construction. Definitely wanna open up one someday. Would be cool to install some regularor on it. They coulda though put a few spots for spare mags to be held in - a mock magazine between the grip and airtank for instance , that just woulda worked as a mag holding shelf where push thru the actual mags.. That woulda been way cool imo. But already way sweet as is - even that fixed og suppressor thing is kinda oddly made, since so many are easily replaceable.. But yes, this one would be way good in the woods..
I just got mine today. Been waiting for 2.5 weeks. I can't get over the accuracy. Plus the power is awesome and on top of all of that, it is extremely quiet
Hello, I've noticed that when I search for Xisico compressor I sometimes get the GX CS3 compressor in the results. Are these two made by the same people? (I know pretty much all are made in China). These two just seem to be interchangeable in the search results. Thanks
Hi I just bought one in Turkey. Before I bought it, reading the problem on shroud and bottle contact, I called the manufacturer and mentioned about this issue. They told me they have been warned about it and later on solved the problem. As they told me, my MX6 that I bought after this conversation is really solid and the distance between bottle and the shroud is even all along the length.
I wonder if there is a description for the service kit what type of orings I need and plastic oring discs and burst disc, springs, that I could buy them from a shop.
