Hi and welcome.Let me introduce myself.l am a wife and mother, we have grown teenagers, plus a little heart on paws my gorgeous Cavachon Benji. Based in County Durham in the North East of England for the last 15 years,I am originally from North Yorkshire. I am completely self taught and just four years into my professional art journey.Starting out in graphite pencilled then moving onto coloured pencils(the highest quality professional coloured pencils) this is now my preferred medium. I try to combine my love of animals and wildlife by creating detailed and life-like portraits for my clients.I am pleased to say that my art is now internationally appreciated, with many of my portraits in countries such as New Zealand, USA , Turkey, Ireland, Scotland to name a few . @@jlb-arts9639 You're very welcome 😀. One interesting thing I've noticed is that even though you're right handed, you don't start in the top left corner. Do you find you're able to keep the pencils from smudging just with the protective paper? I only ask because I'm usually wearing ad much as on the paper if I do that, lol!
@@helenworthington1826 I don’t have a problem normally . I do sometimes not very often start in the left corner . What do you use to sharpen your pencils ???? Electric or hand sharpener
@@jlb-arts9639 You're obviously much tidier than me 😅. I always use a sharp stanley knife to sharpen both coloured and pastel pencils. Haven't yet found a sharpener good enough. What do you use?
