I accidentally hooked up a direct power servo, and sent a full 12 volts through one of those dumbo receivers. Honestly couldn't believe it didn't smoke. I keep them for when my son's friends come over. At this point they are 4 years old. Got them when they were still 20$.... But their prices now are getting out of hand. Somewhere along that chain someone is putting 20$ a piece in their pocket.
The other famous last words, one more and I'm done, and yes is usually when something breaks. 🤣 And it definitely is the one more time before repairing. 😁
Made my day bro😍✌️👍😎 I don't do 5 shirts a day so RU-vid doesn't like me 😂🤣 so it's nice to get some feedback from those who matter 😎👍 See ya round brother
Have you settled on diff weights for your Asuga man? I finally pulled trigger got one of these coming. Sorting through also all these wicked upgrades lol. What size shim kit ya need for these diffs to btw?
I haven't touched the diffs honestly, I don't want to loose handling it's soooo good. If I did anything maybe 3-400 in the center because sometimes in the air she's hard to pull around but if you have the right tires it's bearable. I went my usual 60/500/30 on my XTR and honestly I think it handled better before.... I think I should have just thickened the center a little. You go too thick with certain RC F/R and the power don't shift to the other wheels as well so it pushes in turns or flips. I'm still keeping stock for now, maybe 350 in the middle? But maybe I gotta drive my XTR more to adjust, just the other day I ran it after my Asuga and the XTR was way worse handling. Haven't needed shims yet bet I think there the same as the Arrma ones for the outside of the diff crown side. Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
I just bought the whole set so I'm not sure. Pretty sure it's the longest one for the Kraton. If I'm not mistaken it was a tad too long (where I attached it) and I had to cut about 1/8th off🤔 and then I re-threaded the brace with a kit I have. Hope that helps.
Na bro, Duratrax Lockup 2.8 would be what you search for. The Skeeter tires are great too and cheap on Jenny's RC. The duratrax are discontinued I think🤔 Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
Fantastic video bro. I’m running all the same upgrades. Very informative and helpful. She’s a head turner. Very proud to own one. Keep up the great work. 🙌
Made my day brother. Yeah man ADU and GDI are great companies and the colors look nice together IMHO. Appreciate your time and comment, hope you are enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
Yea my friends don't seem to understand. Most of them seem to work on their cars only out of necessity. They would be horrified at the thought of mounting ALL m2c/ADU parts. They also think upgrades are only good if the old part broke. Which i sort of agree on; but there's upgrades that help save your car. And most of the upgrades available would count for that, at least in my opinion 😆
Yeah man some upgrade beforehand because they know the punishment the rig is going to put through, I sometimes do this because I'm not gentle with my RC's, but if I'm sent an RC like 8 was this Asuga from Corally, then I run it a few times with no upgrades to show how great even the RTR setup is. But if you enjoy warming up at +100ft or you land bad at times (Myself BOTH🤣) then your gonna need some help..... I need a lot of help usually 🤣🤣 But honestly if I got the chassis and center top brace I might have been good..... But I thought I'd show full Beefcake and upgrade path recommended. Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
@3SonsRC great videos man i watched 2 in a row last night! Such a small channel but awesome 'content' even though i don't like using that word 😆 great vids, i needed some beefcaking advice 😆
I had to use one shim... The stock had two shim but it locked up when I used two. So just one on the Crown gear side. Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
muhaha...for me as a 100% beginner it looks like you change everything of the asuga ^^ it can be only 5 parts to have a full car ^^ thx for the vid ! ;)
Your right, it's a lot, but you definitely don't have to do all this, that's why I listed my suggested upgrade path/order and at the end said the only important ones if you need it are the chassis and maybe the center bracing.... But this is a full Beefcake video to show all the upgrades you can get if you got all the strength upgrades. There are upgrades like the hubs and a few other bits I left out because I don't think there necessary at all. For most the chassis is enough. I am a pretty agressive Sender and honestly all my rigs are fully Beefcake M2C rigs with other parts because I've found I break way less stuff with these upgrades, but just upgrade to WHAT YOU CAN at the time (cost) or what is necessary for YOU😎👍 Hope this helps and that your enjoying the channel, see ya round brother
I've got a bash video on the Asuga. This thing is certifiably beast mode. I've got the ADU chassis and braces. And use Kraton 6S EXB V2 Shocks. With M2C Shock stamdoffs. And Custom RC Upgrades towers. Love this rig!
@@3SonsRC yeah I see you got the center chassis I ended up getting the full chassis too someone's a little heavier I think well maybe not cuz I don't have the bulkhead yet so I don't know It just feels heavy I guess feels solid
Love them bro, so stable and controllable, I have used them in this video on the Typhon XLR and on the Asuga after this video. They don't Ballon so you have to take into account for big air they help with rotation but not as Much as if they were NOT belted. The proline badlands 2.8 might be better? But haven't tried. I also got a set of 2.8 Method RC true Beadlock that I'm excited to try, ya just have to add the proline 17mm hexes for $10, and I also got some 2.8 Skeeter tires I gotta try. Hard to find the duratrax now Days because I think there out of business.... So if I kill one I'm screwed, unless there still available online? I haven't looked Appreciate your time brother, hope your enjoying the channel, see ya round
I wanted to get the M2c drive shafts for my outcast 8s. What do I do . I saw not to get it with out those screws. Please help I want the m2c drive shafts
Confused bro, this video is about RPM arms. So your just asking a seperate question? Yeah I have the Overkill Shafts throughout my Kraton and Outcast 8s, some might just be the Beefcake ones, but pretty sure there all Overkill. Mine are not the ones with the Grub screw and replaceable pin.... Is that what your asking about. That's a cool thing.but mine have been fine. Hope that helps. Sorry I don't work for M2C I'm just on the test team. Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
@@3SonsRC yeah I have a stock outcast 8s I haven’t done any upgrades on it. I wanna get better drive shafts bc those break a lot. You think it would be fine if I just got those shafts ? Bc it was saying in the description that don’t buy them if you have the rpm arms
@@MikeGaming21 great question, yeah the 8s RPM arms over flex and can cause drive cup damage... I use them only in the rears with limiting straps. I made my own but Vitavon makes the best I have seen. So you can do rpm arms if you already have them, but stock arms are more ideal. Yeah they break more, but rpm bend too much and cause other issues. Like I said I use them just in the rear of the Outcast because I had them lying around for almost 2 years. If not I would have used stock. If RPM add limiting straps to reduce droop, BUT that still does NOT stop them From overflexing on impact and causing cup damage so buyer beware, not advised
Mine has been alright so far but I have only run the truck about 6 packs. I'm kinda rough on my rigs so I'm happy so far. But I have no problem getting a good cheap servo instead. It's 10x better than the old arrma blx Servos 15n😂 Hope your enjoying the channel brother, see ya round
Has anybody else had a issue with this thing where it will only steer, but no power, if i reset it sometimes It'll do the job. Then i have another issue with it where it will go into forward or reverse heavily without me touching it. Can somebody help me or point me where to get help
You must be kidding. Versatiie? On the planet? That's just a mid range Corally rc buggy. Useless on track. Even the Inferno Neo 3.0 VE surpasses it at a cheaper price pointand it is an entry level1/8 buggy. Edit: Cars are not planes.
Just my opinion but yes it's definitely in the conversion, the inferno could not handle this level of sends or this rough of terrain because its smaller. The Asuga size (1/7) makes it more capable for off-road hardbashing and construction sites were pretty much EVERY buggy struggles besides bigger 1/5th Losi 5ive B. This rig ramps just as good as the Typhon and those rigs, and it's good - not close to great (but capable) on the track where the Inferno would dominate.... But pretty much all buggies couldn't come close to this rig in ability to handle Rough terrain. AND this is probably the most durable RTR buggy period, and definitely more durable than any kit buggy for hard bashing and ramp sends..... Plus throw some bigger tires on there and it hangs with The Kraton! Thats Versatile IMHO, everyone might have a different definition, but by my standards, yes.... It's not just click bate "mid range Corally buggy" If you drove one you wouldn't say that guaranteed🎯👍 Appreciate your time brother, hope to see ya round Like "Cars are not planes" 🤣🤟
Killer rips with the Asuga Dennis. This truck is an instant favorite for sure. It drives and handles nice for its size. Killer sends off the ramp. I'm running Skeeter tires and it totally transformed it into an insane backflipping machine. TC nailed it with Asuga.
Nailed it..... Absolutely It's a shame to so many guys it's still just Arrma and Traxxas, Corally should be literally right there, but fair enough those other two have been doing it longer, but No company has risen this fast with this rapid of consumer based changes🎯🤟😎 Good to see you my friend
Bro that's a tough choice. Outcast is my favorite RC of all time mostly because it's wild style and it's what got me going... Kraton as well.... But the Asuga is really amazing bro, if you want more tricks and flips go Notorious, if you want best handling Versatile RC that can go big stable airs and flips if you want em go Asuga.... Can't go wrong with either my friend. Thanks for your time and support brother, hope your enjoying the channel, see ya round
Hell ya bro welcome! 😎🤟 Appreciate the kind words brother. It's hard to find great RC channels to sub too so I'm honored you chose 3 Sons👍 See ya round brother
Wicked rip Brother Dennis 😱. Awesome ramp sends and Killer construction bash!!! So impressed how stable the Asuga looks over the rough stuff. Most buggies would be taking far more tumbles. Loved the edit my friend. Very tough big buggy!!! 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊
Appreciate that brother Rich🤟 Loving the Asuga, just finished full Beefcake Build on er, she was fine without it but my terrible landings caused some sweeks😳 so next video it's Beefcake👍 Thanks for the kind words my friend
Welcome my brother, glad to have you and support appreciate the kind words😎👍 The electronics are stock and I think I'm on a 16t pinion. The bigger tires also help with rotation.... Really hard to flip this rig with the stock Tires though the stock Tires handle fantastic tho. See ya round brother
Nice sends nice air control🔥I had the same problem with air I just zip tied it and was good to go.The new team corally stuff is great for value,I am running both stock rtrs to see how many tricks can be done with something straight out the box 📦. It came through on the upload how much you was enjoying the Asuga 👍
Appreciate the tone and comment😍 agreed love the Kagama and Asuga, those are Corally best.... Excited to see what else is coming this year😉 Hope your enjoying the channel, see ya round brother
First off, Dennis, you have crazy editing skills. Your videos always look awesome. Second, Don't you feel sorry for all the people who don't get to experience Team Corally cars? Their buggy lineup is solid! Great Bash!
Appreciate the kind words my friend... That really means a lot. I just try to put out something that I enjoy, to my style, and hopefully people still enjoy the music and presentation. Yeah man too many dudes it's all about Arrma and Traxxas.... Love those cars as well, but Corally should be considered right with Arrma for that style pan chassis type basher... In terms of quality and durability absolutely same league.... handling though I think the Corally rigs are #1 right now for Bashers.
You forgot Losi 😂, my problem is always caught between racing collecting and ultimately bashing. . I keep buying new RCs when really I run the typhon on my back track everyday. Now the Losi buggy that came out . I was wanted get this guy because like you said it’s not just arrma / traxxas . These rigs are official. Just my lhs says having trouble getting TC which I don’t understand because they are all over on line . Also I did make half kraton/typhon but just old parts so not same as nice fresh buggy . Does TC use straight cut gears ⚙️ in the buggy’s and spiral 🌀 with the truggy bashers ? Anyone know . Also reason buggy’s are preferred for me because they don’t break diffs , they wear evenly till the bulkheads are shot . Also that kuran motor is my favorite with a max 6 it’s a absolute winner
@@RcPlayer-tt2vw Yeah bro agreed Losi is actually a great option as well but I feel like Corrally is making more rapid moves to be a legit contender with Arma and Traxxas for some of the best RC is out there. I’m not so sure about the gears on a Corally . I think they are slightly spiral on all their sets but don’t take my word for it out. Check the Corally forms appreciate your time brother. Hope you enjoyed the video and I’ll see you around my friend.
Yeah buddy those are the duratrax Lockup 2.8 belted but not sure their made anymore... I think Louise is the maker for Duratrax so check Louise. Thanks for your time buddy, hope your enjoying the channel see ya round
Great bash and content as always my RC bud. I have a K6S XL, so yeah, I'm covered. Hehe. Have you tried out the syncro 4? I've been doing some big jumps with it and I haven't broken anything 👍
What's up bro, appreciate the kind words! No I haven't tried the Syncro... It looks great but if I were to get another buggy I'd get the spark, but that's not a knock on the Syncro at all.... Heard great things. Maybe the more plastic approach is helping the durability. I still think the motor diff mount being plastic is questionable but only time will tell. Corally making some great moves.... I wouldn't think that the Kagama is MORE durable than the XTR because there's more plastic and less 7075 on the Kagama, but by all accounts it's tougher. Designed tough by Corally🎯🤟
I was on a site today with a k6s . Way dusty and beating the heck out of the RC . For now , I’m sticking to flattened grass and a ramp I know . I trashed my ride today , lol . Nice sends 👏👍
Yeah man construction sites are a whole other beast... And sometimes there just too rough. I drive a lot for my work and if I see a spot I can sometimes bash it. Appreciate your time and support brother, hope your enjoying the channel,.... And appreciate the kind words, see ya round
This buggy looks stable and rigid. I have a monster truck, a short course, a crawler, and a mini crawler. Buggy is the new option just to drive somewhere on the dirty and bumpy road. Nice video!
