HEAT fan here. To all the Sixers fans chiming in after acquiring Caleb, although he looks good here & was massive help throughout the last few years on the Heat, he was also very inconsistent and has lingering injuries, every season. He also has a hitch in his 3pt shot that never goes away, and has a major issue with keeping his foot on the line. If he can't grow out of those things under Heat development, i'm not hopeful he will under Sixers development. It would have been great to keep him as he fits in our system, but I would not have high hopes for this acquisition.
@@DM-by5sr "a hater" lmao go through the Heat subreddit and search his name so you can see how annoyed this fanbase was with him through the majority of his tenure. Sixers are a joke and will still not be taken seriously
@L2DG I don't care what other fans has to say. Players need a different atmosphere sometimes. Its motivation. He has more help & better scores in Philly than on the Clippers.
His agent made a major mistake. Also, he's not always as good as he appears in these highlights. Many lowlights and inconsistencies throughout. He fit well with the Heat's system but I wouldn't have high hopes for this acquisition.
@@BuckbarrelGood luck with that. He fit well for the Heat's system and with the Heat's development team (we built him up from being undrafted) but ultimately he's very inconsistent, has a lingering knee issue, and his ceiling was truly just that one game in the ECF (2023). I wouldn't have high hopes for this acquisition.
@@ivjo31 The media didn't start bashing him until a long time after the fans started to bash him. By the way, what specific talent are you referring to, in terms of basketball ability? Other than speed/quickness, what area of his basketball game is elite?
He is good. While he knows his primary role is to defend the basket and snag rebounds, it would make him a better player if he develops a spin move around and under the basket as a center.
Dark horse ROY. What impressed me so far is that he knows when to pass out of the block when it’s clogged. I’ve seen him make some good assists this way. Most rookie big men would just force up a shot.
I love how he dunks, like he want's to take the backboard with him every time! Great energy! The steal of this years draft an exactly what the Mavs needed!
