That green thing is might be a sign of some copper mine or a pic coming from a place that got copper, and that jasper is the sea jasper, usually got that pattern on it, if I am not wrong
Yo! So cool to see New Zealand rocks. I'm a Kiwi living on Gold Coast now and I love seeing my homeland. I enjoyed the walk along the river. Really cool to see your finds. Popping over to your fossil channel too. I love science and history. That's a huge crab. It looks really cool. 🦖
Fun to see you Rockhounding. Usually you are hauling a walrus sized rock up a cliff face. I’m glad you take a break, now and then. The cutting was icing on the cake. Thank you.
Fun to see you Rockhounding. I wonder if you kept the really big speckled one? Both you and Marlains Atkinson have the cleanest hands on videos! Thanks.
During childhood times, we used to found this type of stones and others crystals when we went to rivers, but we never care about it as we thought it is as just some worthless natural marble or crystal. Sometime we picked it up but just to threw it away again or to lose it. What are they? Is they worth anything? We usually found it in river bed, among gravels.
Bless! I love rock cutting videos! Your video was lovely and clear and concise, forgive me but I would like to make a suggestion, when you do the final reveal, we would like to see what the rock looks like polished, not dull. So if you could clean them and wet them before you show them, they would really show the true colours of the rock!
Awesome agates! I also collect some from time to time at the river rhine or with luck at the baltic sea, some are great but yours had some great textures!
Awesome I picked up some stones last week that I thought were black jasper - I didn't realise we had black agates, can't wait to get a new blade and start cutting now - thank you
@@mamlamborocks honestly I've only been collecting for a couple of years and I picked these up because they were "shiny" lol but thanks to you i'm glad I did - all the best with your club!!!
Used to come here with adear friend Kayla Russell, when we were younger. Her parents had a bach there. (Her stepdad would tumble stones too)Loved sitting there looking at all the pretty stones
I thought that I had a voice in a quiet spot and shortly after 12:08 there is the voice of a young girl saying (Dad look what I found) A little strange. Lots of beautiful rocks in that river and beautiful snow on the mountains. Keep up the great videos and God bless you and your family.
I had no idea NZ had such variety. Here in Oregon we have a ridiculous amount of chalcedony varieties. Great vid man, subscribed and look forward to your next adventure
Went to birdlings flat today with the whanau and I accidentally filled a bucket with things hahha they were weighing down my pocket first time tumbling stones so I hope I found some goodies
Glad to have found your channels, really great watching! I was just over on the west coast and found a piece of pitch black petrified wood, well I think It is.. half a loaf of bread sized. Hopefully its not just coal. Cheers
