Fun fact:The Madagascar ride was demolished before this was made,that shows the true scale size of how big it was! Sad fact is that Singapore was the only Universal Studios who had the ride!❤
1. Super Nintendo World or something new like Luigi Mansion (Ghost castle). 2. Annual pass. 3. Jurassic rapids adventure robotics are like using 90s tech. and I think the items in the shop haven't changed since USS open.
Luigi mansion will not be added nor has it been announced anywhere, the annual pass has been missing for who knows how long under the disguise of "Covid" which is clearly over, and the Jurassic rapids adventure robotics definitely need to be replaced or improved.
I suppose since the target market is kids having two intellectual properties instead of one will draw more people to the park? Minion must be really popular in Singapore which is why they must be opening minion land, although I would have preferred for the whole land to be converted to Super Nintendo World.
Yh minions right? Very boring and childish But universal Singapore is not exactly a standalone resort, it’s basically a shopping mall type attraction in Sentosa resort Singapore so not enough space for anything worthwhile…

World class engineers and designers.. yet marketing team not doing work. Please bring back annual passes and you’ll see USS flourishing again. They only wanna earn 1 time money from tourists..
The reason they aren't bringing back the annual pass is because people living in Singapore are wealthy enough to go multiple times per year, so Genting resorts who operates the universal license ends up making a profit.
Singapore doesn’t even have the space for Harry Potter, it would also cost millions in redesigning the land to Harry Potter, as Harry Potter land is just cloned in different parks.
They announced the project for minion land and super Nintendo world before 2022, not sure why you seem surprised considering singapore has limited space.
I wouldn't say its a complete copy and paste. The boogie buggy seems like it will help the land out a lot. In a matter of fact I think its the only universal park with a beach themed area (kinda) if we're counting the wooden dock thing. But I would have much preferred super nitnendo world to be much larger over minion land, as minion mayhem will be a duplicate of the ride system in Florida (basically a screen with moving cars) rather than japan's.
0:55 I really like that Super Silly Fun land is right on the ocean there! I am wondering though, will the Madagascar Crate Adventure be re-themed to Minions or is it now completely replaced? I personally really hope they use the same boat ride system as before.
The madagascar ride was completely demolished, the whole ride space alone was enough for the placement of super nitnendo world AND the minion mayhem show building. While its sad to see Madagascar go, it wasn't a grand attraction and consisted of some very basic animatronics. The new minion ride will be almost an exact replica of florida's ride system which you can search online, which is disappointing seeing as its not the Japanese version with a ride system like the simpsons ride.
Nintendo land will most likely be delayed till late 2026 to mid 2027. Minion land was supposed to be open to the public in 2024, but now it looks like its pushed back even further.
??? im sorry what? Disney's management has been awful in recent years in their Florida parks, pretty sure you don't want skyrocket high unaffordable prices. Besides disney DID try and build a Disneyland, but there just wasn't enough space for one so universal decided to build one instead. Its not like you can just remove universal either that's millions of dollars of infrastructure to be removed.

From a tourist standpoint, we would have preferred the Super Nintendo World over the Minion Land. It is also likely that the Super Nintendo World will bring in more visitors to USS due to its exclusivity.
That's very true, Super nintendo world is one of the most advanced theme park lands to date, with arguably one of the best Ips and a really good ride. While I do think the inclusion of super silly fun land was great, the main attraction Minion mayhem just doesn't hold up because it uses the ride system in Florida and not japan. The one in florida's is just a big cinema with moving cars, compared to the one in japan that has a huge screen and huge moving cars.

Harry potter land will never be added to USS due to the space constraints it faces. If harry potter was added, the entire land would need to be redesigned costing RWS millions of dollars. If you look at other universal parks where there is harry potter, they all look identical.
Remove the whole Shrek land and the Waterworld might got the chance to build but we dont think RWS will spend XX millions for this. Btw they having a harry potter vision show in RWS by Q4 of 2024, they maybe will take considering from the popularity and results of HP vision show to amend their decision in future? who knows..
@@flanzeryen Its highy unlikely they're going to do this just for harry potter, considering there's a universal in Beijing and Japan with harry potter, its not likely. Also just due to the fact of how much space It takes up for 1 or 2 rides. Not only that, waterworld is basically the only major show in the entire park and its never been removed from a single universal park.
@guykent802 HPW soon will becoming the new standard of Universal Studio, like the Jurassic Park(becoming World soon). Including the new park in the future, like USGB in London. If u go check through the forum the u will know how the WBD and JK deal with Universal regarding their contract for the HP rights. I'm not sure about he old park yet, but soon there's will be a change during 2030 if RWS buy over the golf course opposite of the USS. Who knows in the future, never say never..
When Minion Land and Super Nintendo World are completions, combined with existing Jurassic Park and Transformers, tourists will have a better experience at Universal Studios Singapore.
They most likely won't which is disappointing. Considering they just expanded it'll be a while before USS adds another coaster. Another thing is the target market of the park. If you check the wait times the human coaster and other rides are longer than the big rides such as cylon or revenge of the mummy. People who visit the park don't like big scary rides, but rather smaller more kiddy fun rides.

Honestly I'm super excited for this too! Bit of a pity its using the ride system from Florida and not Japan's, but its understandable due to the lack of space in USS. Even though its also being delayed until 2025, I hope that Super Nintendo World can also released sometime soon after that!
Looks like the section where the main ride will be is almost a complete replica of the one in japan including the same exact delicious me location and bank of evil ATM. Just accommodated for smaller area
