Im on a budget. Im confused between iphone 13 and `12. My needs are good camera, battery life, longevity (i plan to use it for 5 years) and performance. I dont play games but browse a bit for official use.If i choose 12 in 2024 how many years i get updates from Apple?
I got lucky with the price of the 14 pro max that I just bought. Unlocked (renewed), 94% battery health, 512 gb for $750. Space Gray, it's a beautiful phone! You're right about the display screen being sensitive. I noticed that so I bought a privacy screen protector. That wasn't a problem with my iPhone X, didn't need a screen protector for that one. This phone doesn't have 3D touch either so I thought that the screen wasn't original for a sec but learned that 3D touch phased out after iPhone X which is actually better the way it is now without it anyways. Pretty big step up from the iPhone X. Might keep it till 2026's iPhone and hand this one down to a relative because I might be more into the new camera tech by then.
I had my 14 pro stolen on a night out earlier this year. Luckily I was insured but I replaced it with the 15 pro, I’m honestly quite happy with the upgrade despite not planning to if it wasn’t nicked and I thought it wouldn’t be a difference at all however the usbc and 24mp camera plus the lighter titanium build I am finding very nice.
Has the recent update improved the hotspot lag? I got the Portal 2 days ago so I haven't been able to experience the pre-update experience. Seems pretty solid for playing Elden Ring, at least.
Battery drops so fast on 14 pro when u use wireless charger. It produces heat on the battery module and charges at the same time, and this equals battery life drop. I personally use normal lightning cable and my battery life dropped 3%(97%).
Maybe I'm lucky with my iPhone 14 Pro Max battery, after 18 months of use, I still got 100% battery health (99% accdg to coconut battery). The trick I always use is I don't drain it below 40% and only charge it to 80%. I setup a shortcut to pop a reminder that I reach 80% charge whenever I'm charging the phone and if it goes down to 40% as well.
Same, I used my 14 Pro max I purchased at launch until I purchased 15 PM at launch and gave it to my wife, the 14 PM was still at 100 % Health, an now one year and 7 months still on 98 % for almost a two years device, my current and daily driver 15 PM is at 98% health, with all the issues the 14 pros battery Health had our 14 Pro max still at 98 close to two years which is weird, the thing is I almost never drained an iphone and don't usually charge it fully or maybe once a while
Not having 8K video recording is the main problem with iPhone, so if you want to record 8K video you need to get Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. So iPhone 16 is not a current smartphone in this regard. iPhone 13 is still quite remarkable in that it offers 95% what these few latest generations have. AI might be attractive, but for the most part it is a gimmick in my opinion.
You are so wrong… just promote apple products 😂 and second thing if device don’t communicate with a charger it’s not gonna take more than 0.5amp, educate yourself
I always had optimized battery on and it would drop percentage within a few months. Then my last phone I had it off and it was still 100 percent after 7 months
3:14 I made this mistake almost 2 years ago when choosing which smartphone I wanted. I wanted an upgrade because my note 8s camera just wasn’t doing it for me anymore and the battery life has gotten much worse so at first I was going to choose the Galaxy S22 Ultra because I thought that was the perfect phone for me and it definitely would of been, then I was thinking “well I do care about super long battery life because I like to play games and watch movies” then I chose the iPhone 13 Pro Max and I didn’t know it was going to be the 128 gb version. It wasn’t so bad at first but then after I got the second 13 pro max, the first one I got was from Verizon, the second was from AT&T. Since then my phone has been bombarded with problems. Camera focusing issues, battery drain, accidental touches happen often, and since the iOS 17 update my screen has been unresponsive at times. This has been going on for over a year. Now I’m exploring different smartphones to see which one resonates with me the most and I know cameras are my top priority because I take a lot of pictures. Before it was media consumption experience. My interests right now are the 15 pro max, another 13 pro max with more storage in the gold color instead of green, or the 15 plus. But I’m still not all the way sure which one I want because all 3 of these options seem appealing. But, now I know I don’t want the pro max (15) because the camera has disappointed me when using it at Best Buy the other day. I don’t want the 14 pro max because I’m worried the camera quality focus issues will also happen on that model too.
New Apple products base model are just a joke at this point. They’re monopolizing their products to consumers so disgustingly. 8G of ram and 512GB of storage. It has been like this for over a decade! It’s f ing criminal!!!
I own an 24" M1 iMac 8 Gb. It always use around 6 Gb swap. Now I own an 16" M3 Max with 36 Gb and if I do exactly the same things on it, it's using 26 Gb of the ram and zero swap. I hope 36 Gb will be enough in the coming years.
you barely mentioned Lightroom. I find it astounding there's barely anything out there on this topic. I'm awaiting my m2 macbook pro today 16gb 512ssd and I'm STILL not sure after watching literally hundreds of videos if I've made the right choice or not. so frustrating
Iphone SE Specs 1. 5.2" VA LED Display & Aspect Ratio 18:9 2. No Notch Display & Touch ID 3. No need of Wire Less Charging 4. Polycarbonate Back like iph 5C Launch @ Half Price
About half of the items you listed are 100%. The other half are retarded and only become valid if you're dealing with absolute retards who are doing "X" in the most extreme and ridiculous ways. Idiots. Then again, we live in a world where serious chemical cleaning solvents have instructions NOT TO DRINK on the container, so... 🤷🏽♂️
I got the MB Pro with 18 GB RAM not because the 8 GB can not handle what I use it for today but because in 6 years it'll still be capable. 8 GB macbooks will be pretty useless in 2030
I Find iPad’s to be much more versatile than Mac’s…thus giving me more options as far as my use case goes!! I love my M1 12.9” pro but definently plan on trading in for the new 13” M4 iPad Pro this year!
Eh bro theres something called paying more money to get a better spec macbook dont make videos complaining about 8 gigs of ram you get what you pay for
Confused between the 14 inch m3 pro, 512 gb, 18gb vs 36gb or the 16 inch m3 max 14c/30c,36 gb 1 tb ssd. My needs are 4k video editing, lightroom and photoshop. I want the max but if m3 pro is enough, I don't want to overspend. Please help me make the right decision.

Imagine paying 10x the price for a premium phone, then my redmi note 10 pro has higher battery capacity and faster charging and no need for power banks 😂😂😂😂😂
