Hi Candy, I think it's more about the brand than the vessel. Some brands of paste just have a longer shelf life. You can help to extend the life in the jars with Press 'N Seal.
@@ImagineCrafts I had a product that came in small shallow tubs or long tubes with a lip-gloss type of applicator. The stuff in tubs dried out quickly, while months (possibly years) later, the stuff in tubes is fine. I gotta think the less product that's exposed to air when you open it to use it, the longer it's going to last.
Great video, appreciate you bringing out a good way to use these inks, I have just a few soft colours, so now going to try out based on your video. Thankyou.
Buying a Spellbinders Letterpress and trying to figure out what inks to use. I have a large slection of the dye Memento inks and would prefer not to spend more money on the Luxe versions. Help!
I'd never used Amplify before. Good explanation on the product ~ "t-shirt from 80s'"! I had that in mind, watching the whole process of heat embossing! I checked other colors. I think I will try it!
Sorry for the question but I used to watch in awe your beautiful work and in the past have encouraged me to try different products. May not be fitting for this video but I follow you on Facebook and watch those although not as often as your old one. Ok sometimes you paint something and then use a roll with white something to transfer the image. Is that gesso? Thanks so much for your time
I used this on cardstock last night and this morning I'm still able to smudge it. How do I set the ink so it won't come off on my fingers or smudge on the paper?
Hi! There are couple options: 1) heat set it so it dries completely or 2) because it's still a little sticky you can even clear heat emboss over it for some extra dimension and shine. Hope that helps!
Hi Katy, I can confirm that it is a great technique with an amazing effect. I have reworked your idea partly with the same, partly with substitutes. My results look completely different, but the technique itself is really great. Many thanks for sharing from Magdeburg, Germany.
