Had anf 2003 put 77 k miles on it. New exhaust still ran lovely and in immaculate condition. Guy collected it a peugeot estate. Was a carb model did 130 mpg
I rode my 125 Hoodlum from Brynhoffnant to Nottingham via the Devil's Waterfall (200 miles per Google Maps) four days ago, used shy of 2 gallons of petrol. On the 4th of January I rode out to Rhyl and back to Nottingham (270 mile round trip almost entirely on A-roads) and used precisely two gallons.
I don't as it's not my model but if you're on facebook find a group called 'RC Jet Flyers UK' and create a post with this video and ask Steve Kilbon, it was his model, he's always on the group so will see your post and he's a good mate of mine so if I see the post I'll tag him in it. Paul
you'll love it, I get between 95 and 140MPG. tank range is 80 to 110 miles. don't bother with super unleaded as you don't gain much. check the oil level every 50 miles as some burn oil and I carry a 4ltr 10w30 oil can with me, buy the cheapest oil you can as it makes little difference. enjoy
@@ArcturanMegadonkey hey thank you for the quick reply and great advice!! I have a seat specialist close by who will remove the step in the seat also which made my last bike (Honda wave 110) way more comfortable and more bench like
@@alistairrobinson3865 On the journey in this video I had to stop every 50 miles as my backside had gone numb, a comfy seat is essential for long trips. Mines going up for sale soon as I don't get time to use it.
Great video thank you for sharing The old ducted fan nitroplanes are coming back here in the US ! I'm currently working on a couple of yellow aircraft starfires With OS91 power
Wondering, for a relatively small plane compared to its original in size it's gotta a really cool sound. It's not a 12 cylinder engine, right? Excellent flight, especially for a 1st try 👍 Greetings from Belgia
Incredible! What a great demo and well done you for such a brilliant catch on film. Thanks for this, I have never seen such a great night time demo from an RAF aircraft.
Awesome video as always my friend. Breathtaking scenery, great to see and hear you and you daughter. Look fantastic on the video walking though those clouds, be it a bit chilly around the ears haha. Not for me, all those lose stones and sheer drops, sends a shiver down my spine. But a big congratulations to you both for doing the leg work, while I keep safe and warm. Hope you still had wheels on your motor when you got back down haha. Thanks for sharing my friend.
The place gets really busy when the baby seals are there, the mothers and pups don't bother about people walking past them on the public path or the noise when the range is in use.
Brilliant video thank you . I had the pleasure of doing the same trip a few years ago with an 81 year old gentleman, I must say he left me standing .. I hope they told you the story about the old Clockwinder sooner after the clock was motorised .
I’ve been thinking about doing something like this but using busses. The trouble is the bus services here in Cornwall are utter shite, and are often cancelled with no warning, so there’s a good chance of me being stranded miles away from home in a bus stop at the arse end of nowhere in the pissing rain! I haven’t been out detecting for, well, it’s over a year now. Still got all the gear, but I’m doing so many hours at work that when I do get a day off I’m too knackered to go out and do anything. Looking forward to see where you are off to next 🙂
Gidday mate, remember watcing you every day during lockdown while we were also locked down in Australia at the same time. Looks like I will be watching your train travels now ! Always enjoy your crazy videos Paul. Love to see some more metal detecting vids again. Does Fiona still detect ? Her chanel seems dormant ! Was sad to see old Ged passed on. Loved his vids. Chat again soon. Glenn.
