Okay the problem is you have the magnet plate on backwards on the sticky pad you need to peel it off and turn that little silver plate around there's a shiny side and a dull side you'll figure it out you just have the plate backwards
so funny you say that....once all the west coast schools headed to the Big 10, my first thought was, "great, now we're stuck over there in Bubba land"@@RICHROOSTER69
I just bought this fridge 3 days ago and it has this same problem. I discovered the wiring inside a track it is suppose to stay in and had popped the side. I believe I've discovered why this is. There is a plastic bearing that was about 4 inches out of place. Pushing this plastic bearing all the way towards the direction of the door seems to have resolved this issue.
When you slide open the drawer, take the tray out (thats holding your food) on the right side you'll see a cord sticking out (Which is what's causing the issue) push it to the side. Problem solved.
Bah - can't post a pic as a reply. I see this complaint so many places. Nothing beats a photo to show people what needs to be done. Pull the tray from the drawer. Make sure the gray tabs at the top of the door are retracted or the tray can get caught on them. They're the tabs that pop out when you pull the bar and push the drawer away from the face of the refrigerator. You do not want to snap those off - major PIA to replace. Look at the track on the right side of the fridge. The black cable needs to be COMPLETELY inside the track. There's a white nylon strain relief that sometimes pops out of the track. If you see a white knobby thing attached to the black cable and it is outside the track - push it back inside the track. You may need to use some force. DO NOT PRY ON THE TRACK to push it back in. Put on a leather glove if you're concerned over injury to your hand. Usually firm pressure from a thumb is all that is needed.
@@jamespeache8965 thank you. We have not had the problem for a long time now. We have been reading Reviews now for a long time and it appears we will be more careful in our purchasing in the future. Our major complaint now is the quality of the ice...the reservoir is not insulated leading to white ice
Cool video. I set one up and recorded a family member sleeping through the night. I like these cameras, but am having trouble connecting through public wifi when away from home, it lets me connect through my cell phone LTE, but not through public wifi. The cheap price of camera and the timelapse function helps me ignore the shortcomings...
A question for you. Does the flexzone guides always end up sliding all the way against the back items and the items slide inside the drawer as well? It seems to me that there is something wrong with this design as my metal dividers always end up after a couple of days at the back of the fridge against the items in the back, and all the zone I defined are no longer valid and even worst, I havre to move all the items to the front, drag the metal guides in order to access items in the back,
Sounds like you might have something rubbing and pushing the dividers around. Mine don't move at all. Maybe try to see inside the top of the drawer as you close it to see if something is rubbing and pushing it to the back.
Jake paper... The cable is slipping out of the track and it will brake sooner than later. You can see it working by removing the insert easily and then open and close the door while watching it.
Mike, my daughters Z580 is experiencing the exact same behaviour. Laptop is 1.5yr old now and was working fine before. Did you manage to get it fixed? Please let me know: robert at elsinga dot net.
I have that fridge in black and the drawer sticks sometimes, too. Someone else posted a video as to why - Samsung Fridge Flex Zone Drawer Sticks - there's a cable towards the right back of the drawer that sometimes comes out the track and gets caught, preventing closure.
I thought it might have something to do with that cable but couldn't verify it. Samsung was going to send someone to repair my fridge but the company was so completely inept (A&E Factory Service) that Samsung just decided to replace my entire fridge instead. Seems silly for something that's probably an easy fix but what do I know... :)
