I know Auf Wiedersehen Pet was a comedy drama about the plight of the working-class people and their struggles in the 1980s but I've give anything to return the that era rather that be in England as it now is under Starmer.
Was watching series 2 in bed only last night, where Barry & Oz go poaching......I will never tire of watching AWP..... absolutely brilliant!... Great video mate btw👍💯👑⭐
If I owned that I'd have an open day for fans in the summer for a small fee if only to help with the maintenance costs. The heating bill alone must be astronomical.
Absolutely loved Auf Wiedersehen Pet and it’s one of the very few programmes I go back to regularly and watch all the way through on dvd. Series 2 was my personal favourite but loved it all. Great video, thanks.
had contact with the villa owner Mr Paul Young (not the singer) he`s not renting out the property at the moment as he hasn`t been well but it was nice to contact him about the villa
I watched the whole series again a few months ago. I loved this programme when I was about 12. For a 12 year old kid watching something so brilliantly made it’s basically all gone now from this era of mobile phone addicts. Shame what this world is turning into. Life was harder back then but people were happy with basically nothing
Good vid I went for a look about 7 years ago as was in the area got half way down the driveway looked at my mate and said stop the car Wayne I gotta get out lol he had no idea what I was on about lol
Fantastic effort that! The restaurant at the Dutch services being used as two separate locations is a great discovery. Can't see many fans being aware of that fact - i certainly wasn't. Much appreciated. 👍
You should go and photograph the empty stage at central in Nottingham instead of the villa. All Spanish interiors were recorded after Holten’s death along with the last few Barley Mow bits.
Great video with the comparisons…..do you have the location for the windmill on the A15 please ? My mate and I are going to try and follow your route this weekend.
My ex went crazy when we didn't have much money around about 2000 ish - the series were being shown on the tv channel Bravo in the UK, but we were out in Bexleyheath and I bought the vhs box set of both series for £79.99 (for context I think I was earning a couple of hundred a week at the time and could have watched it every night episode after episode on Bravo) haha! good times, still got the VHS - the ex went years ago.
Fucking cool man! absolutely love it :D I still won't have Tim Healy's ex wife on my telly, the tv goes off anytime she comes on. - disrepecting Dennis like that aint on. she is a vile creature!

Amazing, well done for saving history. I big fan, loved watching the show over and over, remember it well and brings back so many memories. Love the history of it. So you own the place now? The 80's was the best times, love to go back to that time again. Good times, good memories.
@@steve8671 I see lol, good to see it restored though. Where was the building site filmed, trying to find it on here. I love the history, like the memories on here, seeing the then and now's. Was good times back then, I was 9 when it aired back in the 80's, loved it and still do.
Hi Steve. Love the vids. Great effort. I’m going to Marbella in the Summer and would love to visit some of the locations. Can’t find them on the website at the moment. Would love it if you could share some locations🤞
Hi Steve. I forgot to ask at an earlier time.I’m in Marbella currently for a day or two. I’ve found Ally’s villa but if you have any addresses for the Marbella area it would be appreciated.
