This is horrible on soft sand

There isn't a single wagon on the market that can be pulled on soft sand, everything will sink in. but it still pulls through.

@@Luke.Cooking you’re not folding one of those giant monsters up 😂 this fits nicely in my trunk and hauls all the things not just for the beach. If I wanted JUST a beach cart sure but I and many other people want multi purpose and so this solves that issue. I have no issue pulling it at the beach

They aren’t that amazing - when the flame goes out the smoke that’s released will get the fire department called on you. You can try and relight but it doesn’t always take. Also way more ash and more cleanup vs good firewood. lastly you can’t eat or cook food on them - which many of us use the solo stove for. unless you buy food grade pellets which are 5x the price.

I don't have a single beach near me that allows dogs, but my dog would be walking if she could come :)

How long do pellets burn verses regular wood?
@johnsmithfakename8422
@johnsmithfakename8422 8 месяцев назад
I like the bottom plate but this is a serious disappointment. Pellets are dense and a good way to get pellets to burn more efficiently would be to have a tube that takes up space in the center of the fire pit and move pellets closer to the outer edge.
@heatherroseblog
@heatherroseblog 8 месяцев назад
I didn't make it lol! We love it and find it burns so much cleaner and hotter. it's also so much easier for me vs lugging around wood. Sounds like you have a great idea, you should make that and sell it, it would do well!
@tg5538
@tg5538 8 месяцев назад
Couldn't you just position the pellets in a circular pattern, leaving the center empty?
@heatherroseblog

@heatherroseblog sorry, I was referring to the other post about needing a tube for placement and better burn. I just ordered our pellet adapter and heat deflector, can't wait to give them a try.

How long did The Burn last?
@johnsmithfakename8422
@johnsmithfakename8422 8 месяцев назад
I am no expert but with that few pellets I am going to guess somewhere between 10 and 20 minutes. I think in that sized container 30 lb of pellets would get around 1.5 hours of burn time.

Yeah I was gonna say my small one runs for 30-40 mins so that sound about right with it being a lot bigger I’d say 1hr to 1hr 40 mins

Is the pellet adapter the thing on top? What's is used for?
@heatherroseblog
@heatherroseblog Год назад
It’s actually inside the fire pit. The thing on top is a heat deflector

How was the smoke level with this? I have used wood sometimes and depending on the wood I see a lot of smoke So i am looking for options for less smoke. Pallets might be it.
@heatherroseblog
@heatherroseblog Год назад
I didn’t even see any. I’m super sensitive to smoke and it usually makes my allergies go crazy and I had no issues at all after using the pellets so I’m sticking with these going forward!

Barely any and longer more determined burn times plus you can mix em

Plus you can get usda approved pellets so you know it’s safe to cook with just don’t use a fire starter with wax or tars
