Matt, Thanks so much for the entire video - Great info!! Your “Split Points” demo segment starting at minute 20:00 with plan & vertical split-view of the interaction between feature lines of different styles is awesome! For some reason I expected the style priorities to hold true even when connecting feature lines by grip-editing or with object snaps. So would you say that this statement is true? “If a feature line is expressly grip-edited or moved with object snaps to a point on a second feature line the priorities (styles) are ignored for this action. A higher priority feature line will not keep its elevations if a second feature line of lower priority is being connected to it with grips or snaps. This is the case again where the last edited feature line ‘wins’.” I wish for a toggle setting that would maintain the style priorities of feature lines no matter how their overlap or coincidence is achieved. Is there a way for this to be true? By the way - many times I feel that Autodesk “hides” important features or settings like feature line style priority. Does anyone else feel this way too? Thanks, Greg
This was one was really great. I see some other educators also divide their youtube-videoes into segments with titles, so it is easy to navigate to specific subjects within each movie. This would be nice here as I some times return to have a look at specifics :)

This is Gold! Thank You for such an informative session. The only problem I am facing is that when I select the whole model all the chamfers also get identified as holes and while center drilling it pecks multiple times in those holes. Any suggestions?
What is missing is the option of creating an overall .nwd model based off files available in ACC. Currently we are creating .nwd for model reviews by appending local collaboration cache files.

Thank you for your feedback and insights about our script! We appreciate your input. The script works best when the view to enumerate is near or within the elements. @@SolidCADACanselCompany suppose elevation between two contour lines is 1m. To obtain 10% grade the length of alignment joining two contour lines would be 10m. So we should fit 10 m line between all the contour lines. I just want to know if there are any tools that we can use to make it easier or even automatic.
41:10 just a minor note to add, 2023 Plant 3D and 2024 Navisworks, only a .NWC or .NWD file can be viewed from ACC as of me posting this May 9, 2023. NWF file is not viewable from within ACC. Great presentation, followed a long with all the steps.
Hi guys, thanks for the demo. I know this is a year old. I have a question about Powermill capabilities. I always see ball bits used with simultaneous 5 axis, but can we use Vbits or flat end mills for clearing material out of tight spots? I'd love to see a video showing the use of a V bit specifically. Cheers!

Hi is there a way to automatically enter the pages # in the sheets set. Ex: I got 300 sheets do I have to enter 300 number manually. And if I delete lets say sheet 100 do I have to change the 200 others sheet manually?
Unfortunately, there is no native way to automate the sheet numbers like that. However, with a project of that size, you may want to look at a 3rd party tool to tackle that task. Sincpac2 is a reputable Civil 3D add-on that has a tool called SSM Renumber. This might be worth the investment to save you the time.
