Many of these videos are from the The SpecialQuest Multimedia Training Library, which supports the inclusion of young children with disabilities birthfive and their families, in early care and education settings. The SpecialQuest materials and approach have been used with over 5,000 participants nationwide, refined over the past ten years, and have been shown to create and sustain change. SpecialQuest Birth-Five provides these materials at no cost with funding from the Office of Head Start.
I am so glad Christopher has the support he has. Special children can accomplish so much if given the chance. I luv special kids and I feel like I have a special bond with them. Having worked off and on for the last twenty something years with these wonderful children and watch them grow emotionally, physically and mentally. It is wonderful.
So you should realize that they don't want to be called 'special children' See them without the disability. They're just children with different needs.
I think this video is great Samantha is such a strong little girl that you can see that loves to learn and she's very smart, I'm happy to see she has a great family that it is very positive and involved in their daughters life and education. This video really touches me way deep down inside my heart because this is my passion, this is exactly what I want to do in my life and that is working with children like Drew. I feel deep down inside of me that this is one of the best things that the department of education has done for children. I value and nurture the uniqueness of each child regardless of background, skills, or abilities.
