They've ruined Donnington Park it's not Metal anymore it's Pop rubbish no wonder they changed the name they've fazed out Metal lame AF none of them are true Metalhead's or never should be called by that
@@markjohnston3790 Monsters of rock died in the 90’s - sorry bud. Download has never claimed to be a ‘Metal Festival’. Just because it’s at the same venue as Monsters… they also host motorsport at the same venue… 🙃
@@anthonymccoll5 Yayy! 2018 was our first year in PF too 🖤 Can’t imagine doing that walk from the carpark to general now… last time I camped in Blue, I was 30 years old 😅
Crazy golf is so frustrating! We have the Rydal 500 from Eurohike, It comes in blue also! It’s not blackout in the bedroom, but other than that.. it’s perfect! 👌🏼
We became mates our first year camping at park farm in 2018, after doing our fair share of GA, so lucky to have had awesome neighbours that we meet up with each year. I am positive the jacket will make an appearance next year also, so practical when it gets chilly in the evenings! 😄😄
Great video guys! Yeah now you mention it, the arena does just seem sparse now… Reminded me about the medieval battles, and I wanna say Horror Circus? Short of DJs and a couple fun fair rides, there wasn’t really a lot to do of the night time either… BUT still love Download for what it is 😁
Like animals in captivity, I feel like we need some extra enrichment to stop us getting bored 😄 Totally giving this year a pass for health & safety reasons, but if next year isn’t a sellout I will be curious to see if they fill the space with some quirky extra things! Of course still LOVE Download 🥰🥰
@@sammillsy8539 with the guest area, Park Farm pub and plenty of other spots to get out of the weather for a bit and have a break from the crowds - it’s just a chill vibe 😎
Sorry for the late reply, I didn’t get a notification! It depends which accommodation- camping in sleepy hollow / park farm (that we do) first come first served - you are guided to a spot by marshals. You can let them know if you have a large tent and they’ll give you plenty of space whilst guiding your neighbour into the spot next to you. There is a very useful Facebook group “DOWNLOAD R.I.P Camping” that has so much information, highly recommend.
Absolutely love these guys, even though they only played three songs I was still so glad to see them! I think seeing Jinjer straight after cheered me up a lot lmao
Sounds like there is an actual bass track playing in the background. When I saw them in London w/o Damon I was not sure if there was bass or not (the guitars are tuned so low anyway).
