I know you are using AI for this, but I must say your presentation is actually quite good. So many AI videos are crap and have nonsense scenes that often do not compare well what is being said. Well done for that.
@KnowyourEnglishNow
@KnowyourEnglishNow Месяц назад
Hi RIP. Yes, we have been asked or criticised regarding this in other videos. It is a matter of time. We enjoy sharing this content, but with our other activities time is not on our side. So we do use AI, but it is not as simple as people may think. We check all our content and do additional research as AI gets it wrong at times. The video clips we try pretty hard to connect to the words. That can take quite a while as AI is terrible at doing that, so it is often a manual task.

This idiom has something quite unique about it. It is probably the only idiom we have looked at so far with so many incorrect origin explanations. To this day, many people around the world still incorrectly believe it came into existence owing to the seasonal moon changes.
@kelwin2180
@kelwin2180 Месяц назад
That is very interesting. I have read articles in the past saying it was owing to various season moons that were rare. After watching this now I thought your comment about it was rubbish. I went to the blood moon wiki. Not that you can always trust the wiki, but it did agree. Seems I have been mistaken that we have the once in a blue moon phrase because of the seasonal moons. Thanks kye for the education.

I hate AI-generated videos with a passion.
@KnowyourEnglishNow
@KnowyourEnglishNow 2 месяца назад
Hi Aetopus, yes, it is something that we thought long and hard about. Our problem is time, my friend and I enjoy creating the content, but struggle to find the time to make content fast enough with all our commitments. It is not all AI done. AI is certainly not good enough to be left on its own to just do as it pleases. For this reason we research our information, and it does take a long time to try put together the correct clips and sequences. Often it is just not right, but we really try to make it relevant. Of course, that leaves the voiceover. I agree that a lot of people, especially those in my generation that dislike AI voices. Those born in the 1950's to 1980's especially tend to dispise it. We fall into that group, but we reasoned that the younger generation are just going to grow, while the older generation will slowly decrease. AI voices are also becoming better, so it will be much more difficult to distinguish one day. Quite scary actually. However, we decided that we would embrace AI as much as possible without putting our information on the line. So we do research and really do try to make the clips make sense. I know many channels do not care, and that does give this kind of content a poor name. Anyway, I don't believe my reply will change your mind, but it is just trying to let you know there are real people behind each video that is posted. Interestingly, we do not use AI voiceover in our videos all the time, just for most of them. You can maybe let us know which two you believe are not done by AI voiceover :)
@RIP-ld6yp
@RIP-ld6yp Месяц назад
I think the channels more recent ones are not AI generated. I still think some of the ones I have watched are quite well done, even if they are AI. I have seen some junk AI rubbish on YT, and these are quite good as I have been listening to a lot.
