Kalicaran to me was like a lefthanded Sunil Gavaskar. So elegant, absolutely effortless, smooth and skillful batsman. No fear for any of the Ausi Bowlers - likes of Thomo & Lillie .
Still love hearing those stories plenty years after, they all made us proud growing up. They didn’t made much money but they performed like millionaires. Bless they souls. Both the falling ones and those a life. Bless
I really, really enjoyed this, lots of humor in his presentation but it shows the difference in how those players took cricket seriously in his time unlike now.

I first saw Kalli at Nehru Stadium in Pune in a tour match WI vs West Zone in 1974(I think, in November). Then those days we boys went up to their dressing room as there was not much security those days.Love to Kallibhai.
Fantastic tips by Kalli. I love to watch all his batting videos_I did watch a few. Simple yet most effective batting style! No helmet nothing, yet he used to smash Denis Lillee&for that matter any bowler with minimum fuss!God bless,Kalli! Wish u good health.
Kalli, the great! Wonderful batting. I loved watching him smashing hook shots against Denis Lillee effortlessly&fearlessly. Kalli, a simple guy with big heart to play big shots. I loved Sir Gary, Sir Vivian,(I met both)_then Kalli (I only saw him play) Love to them. Wish them good health.
Classy batsmen. Highly talented. Right from.ball one he played a natural game. No fear at all. Cricket lovers missed him a lot due to rebel tour.Any Era he will make in the list of the best Test Eleven team
