Is no one going to talk about how a mess trying to get some of these thugs out of their situation when the police arrived. Like the shipwreck zone needs something like a truck or even a helicopter to get out and trying to find the unconscious bodies of people in fire and mountain zones will be a nightmare considering they could be surrounded by flames or stuck to the bottom of a cliff
I HAVE FINALLY FOUND YOU!! IM SO HAPPY OMG- i hope you post more of this because ive watched (all you have posted of) this before and it left me on a cliff hanger i hope you arent one of thoes who fall off the face of the earth
I really hate how Izuku is still afraid of Bakugou considering he had already faced down the Hero Killer Bakugou’s threats shouldn’t even faze him anymore. I highly doubt Bakugou could be anywhere near as intimidating as Stain or Shigaraki.
I really like the way Izuku defeats Stain in this series as it seems very believable for Izuku’s abilities. Considering how dangerous Stain was in canon Izuku(both in that part of canon and in this au) would not(believably) have the strength nor skill needed to defeat the hero killer in a straight forward fight. While brief the fight showcases both Izuku’s self sacrificing nature and analytical approach to combat situations. Which considering in canon some of Izuku’s fights kind of devolve into “just hit ‘em harder” this Izuku turning to more creative and tactical approaches that are still within his skill set is much appreciated.
I’m all for an IzuOcha story and I do love this one specifically, but I kinda hate how Izuku still hasn’t gotten over his trauma from Katsuki and All Might(especially All Might since he didn’t actually do or say anything to warrant such an overreaction). Now I’m not expecting this Izuku to throw hands with his old bully but he should be confident enough and wise enough to understand that Katsuki isn’t going to be allowed to attack him without consequence(especially when he’s friends with the police). If Izuku has reached the point that he’s no longer as insecure about his quirklessness he should be able to compose himself enough to(at least) not flee from the explosive blonde in fear.
5:10 glad Izuku forfeited since Bakugou admitted that that beating was meant for “Deku” which if no one intervened would mean Izuku would’ve been severely or even mortally wounded. Considering how much damage Kirishima took from their exchange, and his quirk makes him extra durable, there’s no way this Izuku’s body would’ve been able to take such abuse.
I like how Izuku forfeited his match with Katsuki because the potential gratification if won his match wouldn’t really be worth the much more likely beat down he would’ve suffered. Considering this Izuku spent very little time with physical exercise in this story and likely wouldn’t have the necessary strength or combat training to succeed(even with a clever strategy). Not to mention this Izuku has no interest in getting into the hero course and it really wouldn’t have been worth it to Izuku to let Katsuki wail on him (again) just for a hypothetical chance at putting his former bully in his place.
Also giving Katsuki an easy win would be(arguably) more infuriating for the explosive blond than if got beaten. Not to mention Katsuki’s one-sided rivalry with Izuku is naturally something Izuku has zero interest in.
This is one of my favorite Izuku what-if series. Mei’s steadfast friendship with Izuku as it feels pretty in-character and also it seems like something Izuku would need to become more self-confident. It’s always great for Izuku to become self-aware enough to realize how truly horrible his past was(especially Bakugou’s treatment of him). Also I find it hilarious how everyone is scared of Izuku(as they should be) even after they know about his quirklessnes.
