Hi Kami! I just love your mixed media pages. 👏 A good adhesive to try for your napkins/collage is Liquitex Matte Fluid Medium, I also like their Matte Gel Medium. I love the reflective tape on the cabinet door..I’ll need to buy some now to try. Your dark room turned out great! I always skip pages like that because I never know how to colour them. Hi Bon 💜🤗 Thank you so much! I have Matte Gel Medium and Mod podge, definitely first one is winner. I don’t have Liquitex one, but I will keep that one in mind in the future. The tape I got in Daiso. Regarding dark room, honestly it my first time, and wasn’t sure if it would turn out well. Seems it is not too bad. Just shouldn’t have used acrylic paint, it was difficult to apply inks on top. Thank you so much 💜🤗 The name of the ink set is SKY-TOUCH calligraphy dip pen set, it is kinda generic brand I think. You could get Kuretake Gold Mica. I don’t have this one, planing to get one. And it seems it is a bit bigger bottle. I think it will be worth getting Kuretaki one, since it is 60 ml bottle. I just checked on amazon skytouch one, it doesn’t mention how much ml. But additionally to gold ink you also get black ink, wooden handle with replacement nibs.
Beautiful coloring pages but for me it is a bit dizzying to watch the video, you move around the coloring books a bit much so I can't get a good look at your beautiful and inventive coloring style.

Hi Kami! nice to see a new video of yours. Congratulations on finishing this book! beautifully done. It’s so funny..I started collecting napkins last year after following a mixed media artist who does a lot of work with napkins..now I’m always on the lookout for different napkins for collage. Apparently, there’s stores that sell napkins individually, who knew! You’re so creative! Tfs 💕😊
Hi Bonnie! Thank you so much dear for your kind words. Have you tried working with napkins, it is so challenging compared to normal paper, they are so fragile to work with lol. I did few small projects with them, turned out okay. Will keep working and see how it works out. Happy colouring 💜🤗
@@ColourWithKami Not in my colouring books but other mixed media projects. They are tricky to use..I have ripped many. I also use tissue paper. I found a soft brush to apply the glue medium. It’s a lot of fun! Happy crafting hun. Have a great weekend!
Wow you're so creative! I love how you're not afraid to change a page completely. Some of my favourites were the page where you used that napkin and the one with the purple gate and the night sky. They turned out amazing!
Thank you so much Kuma💜🤗 I actually was afraid to ruin pages, but I really wanted to complete the book. This will give me motivation to draw and to colour more. Napkin page is also my favorite, I was aware that I could ruin it, but overall I loved how tree itself turned out. Thank you again for your lovely words💜
Me too. You’ve really opened my mind to using different media in my coloring books. I always use different pencils and pens, I never thought of covering up or adding something else. I love collage and this finally gave me the perfect use for my pansy napkins👏👏👏

Neat idea! Ink blending can be a little tricky and you will have different results with different paper. You posted this a year ago so you may have picked up more techniques. I like to apply the ink to my brush/foam and then smoosh the excess off before applying to art (blends better this way). Also some ink blends as it dries. You can also try covering paper with clear gesso and then ink over it (gesso may warp the paper).
That is such a great tip to put the kneaded eraser on the end of the stick to pick up the glitter confetti. Your background and coloring is beautiful! Thanks for sharing. I just subscribed to your channel.

This set I got from local shop here, it was reasonable price. Sometimes you need cross check your local stores with amazon prices, to get the best value.
Gorgeous pages and such amazing artistic talent. Thank for for the inspiration and for sharing your amazing work! I loved how you worked with the granulating White Knight watercolor on the pages with the fish. As far as to outline or not I think it depends on the subject matter you want to make stand out. I like the gold on your sunflower in the Rita Bergman page but I feel they need some of the black lines. Now as for the pages in the Kirby book outstanding job with the metallic outlines on the fish page . I like both versions of the whale pages but I prefer the plain ones without the mail art sparkles. ( it’s just my preference) To be honest, everything you color is impressive and inspirational! My favorite by far is the moon page in Kirby’s book! I’m so overwhelmed 💙Much appreciate your kind words, and thank you very much for taking time to write your thoughts. Some were kind of experimental too, like whale page in Lost Ocean. It took me sometime to decide what to do with ocean itself. Now I like to take risks unlike before, I used be worried of ruining pages and books. But with practice we become more confident.
Hi Kami! I love all your mixed media pages! I love sparkle ✨ so of course I love the blingy whales 🐳. Very creative idea to paste them on. I. I always apply my stickles too heavy handed and end up having a hard time colouring on the next page. I’ll be sure to do what you do next time and apply glitter after I finish both pages. 💡Thanks for sharing! 😊 💜
Hi Bonnie 💜🤗 Thanks so much dear, much appreciate your support. I guess I’m gonna do the other side and apply something sparkly to the whales. It is always challenging not to complete a page, because of glitter or washi tape, since it creates texture on the other side. But it is so tempting to do it anyways😄. I think watercolour is more forgiving those textures.
