Nice to be able to view this since I can never make the meetings. I wonder if the meetings were changed to a different time if the turnout would be larger. Survey the people in advance to see how they feel!
I am SO proud to be neighbors with all of these amazing human beings. SO PROUD. It's such a great feeling to know I am surrounded by people that hold the same values regarding our community and what we see for the future of this town. I have lived here my entire life. My self portrait is on the wall of BVS. we are raising 3 children here. we chose to purchase here BECAUSE we are an AGRICULTURAL community and we wanted to farm and instill those values in our children. We raise poultry in an environmentally responsible way....and have already had to defend our right to farm. But that's the beauty of this town... We are RIGHT TO FARM and we are small and rural. I cannot imagine them having to drive by a hotel or truck stop and huge apartment buildings when we go by the Zittle Farm. I have been so proud of our community and that the first thing you see when you come here is green hills and farm land. This board is NOT representing us. They are trying to change what we are all trying to PRESERVE. We don't have to accept this. we can demand they represent us. we can rise up together and stop this. There are other ways to stop this and we are willing to come together to band with our neighbors to do what's right for our community...for our families.... We are not going to remain complacent while they Change the very heart and soul of this beautiful region. Our valley is SO unique not only to WNY but to The entire state. We the People have a responsibility to protect it. These big developers only have one thing in mind. PROFIT. The United States and all of our citizens MUST start to demand green space, AGRICULTURAL land and a fair economic model for EVERYONE. This will NOT benefit us economically. Not the residents or our small businesses. Don't let them fool you. This only benefits the landlord and few people that have a vested interest.... For you history buffs.... This is no different than the times of Lordes and Serfs. Never forget the PEOPLE have the power. To our councilman.... JUST SAY NO!!!!!
The Board has found it necessary to point out when a speaker is related to one of the employees they stopped paying, so I felt compelled to insure a level field.
