something about hyewon that annoyed me back when i watched the show (obv i’m fine with her now) but it was those clips during vocal practice. while the one i remember mostly was the boombayah vocal practice, but i do remember her doing this multiple times. but it seemed like (at least from the clips that were shown and the way it was edited) that she wasn’t taking critique well. the example i think of is when she was saying the opening line “blackpink in your area” with the most monotone voice, and so the trainer obviously corrected her and told her to try to say it differently, and she continued to say it the EXACT same way over and over again until the trainer yelled at her. i understand it was her first time rapping, but that line was not rapping, she simply had to say it with feeling. and i remember her pronunciation was fine, so that wasn’t the problem. she just said it in such a dull monotone way every single time and would not even try to change it despite the trainer telling her to do it multiple times. and i remember her doing this more than once throughout the show. ever since then she had just rubbed me the wrong way throughout the entire show. and don’t get me wrong, i understand they easily could’ve just edited it that way, because she obviously somewhat improved from the first episode to the last. but at least on camera, she showed barely an receptiveness to any sort of critique from the professionals and would just stare at them and not change what she was doing whatsoever. and she lowkey seemed to have an attitude when she did that as well. so i never really understood why the viewers seemed to vote her so well and favor her as much as they did, other than her visuals. obviously i know she somewhat improved while she was in iz*one, but there were so many other girls who deserved her spot much more than she did talentwise. but i do recognize that many knetz vote for visuals over talent a lot, and i assume that took place a little bit when it came to her rankings. now before any hyewon stans or wizones come for me pls know that i mean no harm, i’m fine with her now, this was simply my impression of her during produce48.
Bahiyyih how could she come up many ranks when during the survival show her skills weren't fully developed it in the end she rose because of many txt fans voting for her that's it
the comments are weird because everyone keeps saying "we knew bahiyyih would be in when she said hueningkai is her brother" but then acted all shocked and betrayed in the finale when she actually did make it in? like i thought yall already knew? you guys just wanted to act brand new for funsies?

And who would have thought Sakura would redebut like a rocket after IZone? That is the real surprise. She may end up being my favorite idol of all time. There's something really really unique about her despite being surrounded by near-aces.
Kim Chaewon always came across to me as very 'cute' and she harnessed that image very well in all the performances she did--from what I recall. Her visuals really helped her make debut I think. I always found her strikingly pretty. Even aside from her performances.
Shiroma Miru should have made debut. I personally thought she should have debuted instead of Hitomi. She had amazing facial expressions, was gorgeous, and had an amazing stage presence. But based on the group picks by the biased Mnet, it seems like they were looking for a group that more fit the 'cute' vibe, which she fit better I think. But not by much.
If you look at Chaewon's Nekkoya performance, you'd agree that she should've been the center on that stage. She really gave her everything on that stage and her moves were so clean.
Its true tho sakura used to had really capturing look but after she debut in lesserafim she looks so different after getting surgeries done she lost her unique look and now looking like common Korean girl
It was kindoff confirmed that Chaewon and Yujin were the rigged members. Starship was confirmed to be involved and since Wonyoung is most definetly not rigged it has to have been Yujin Starship paid for to debut. Chaewon's company was also confirmed to be one of the companies involved. She never has a place higher then 20 but then suddenly she was in the top 10? Her screentime went up drastically out of nowhere and she, at that time, didnt show much of her talent before so its weird that they would give her such high scores and much screen time all of a sudden. The girls are now doing amazing but they were the rigged members. Originally Gaeun and Chowon were to debut.
I think I knew Seita was debuting once Heartbeat happened. He had the iconic opening rap and absolutely slaughtered it. If that hadn’t worked the entire thing would have fallen apart.
Interesting perspectives. I will confess Seita grew on me and in the last few group performances his skills really shone and now in the MV for miracle I think he could easily end up a visual for the group. Yuki always had me, the kid is a natural and reminds me so much of a young Han and so when 3Racha were judging and Han was naturally drawn to Yuki's skills it was no surprise to me. I'm actually a fan of this whole line-up and I think they're all evenly talented and really compliment each other in terms of the overall visual of the group. I was holding a torch for Sean though. I really think he could've added something to the group, especially in terms of personality dynamic and he had such a beautiful and unique vocal sound. I'm not surprised that Eiji and Miraku were not picked. It had nothing to do with skills, they didn't have the right 'look' for what JYPE wanted for this group and I having been a prof dancer I know what it's like to go through audition trials and make it to the top 10 and then be told - you're just not the right 'look' for the group. It stings like hell. I wish those both well coz they definitely have the skills. As for Tomoya as leader - 100% Perfect!
Seita sealed it in the last performance. I am mad that Eiji didn't show more emotion or even a wink after his line would have sealed it because his dance always draws me in. He had so many opportunities it's frustrating.
My heart hurting cause Eiji did not end up debuting, but it doesn't mean he should replace Seita . And I feel Seita is like a vital member in the group ever since the friend letter thingy they had, and most of it is for Seita. So I feel that he will be like the rock that members can confide with cause he is a good listener and makes members at ease
Ken's moment, for me, was in Come Back When You Hear This Song, at the end of the rap when he said 미안해 그리고 사랑해 (I'm sorry. And I love you). The acting and timing of that line was perfect. That's when I said oh, he's definitely debuting.
