Dan, how about adding a check valve on existing case drain return line?
@danczuba
@danczuba 18 часов назад
If the drive train creates enough back pressure to close the check valve, it could over power the case drain return and allow pressure to build up in the attachment... which could risk blowing the seals in the attachment. The key is to have a free-flowing, no feedback third line for the bleed off pressure.

Great and simple video on how to adjust height. Screw you Chevy for making that little thingy plastic instead of metal. I adjusted my left one no problem. The right one was really tight to the point of stripping it. It's like they intentionally used cheap plastic so people will f*ck it up and have to replace. Anyone know if this little plastic thing can be replaced or if replacing the headlight is the only option? At least I have 1 headlight pointed at the right height while other is pointed at the ground. Why couldn't these just come adjusted properly? Grr lol

You have to push into a pile somewhat or you’re going to run out of room to stack and eventually you’ll get too much snow and you won’t be able to push it back more. Rook. And my Boss V has a kickstand idk why yours doesn’t.

We have a dewalt hammer after running it for 10 minutes it will stop/and 40 seconds later it will resume working so basically we got an intermittent problem. Any suggestions?
@danczuba
@danczuba 4 месяца назад
It could be a bad switch, or dirty contacts.... It could also be something wrong with the armature if it is a heat related problem. You run the hammer, something expands and breaks the circuit; then it cools and closes the circuit so it works again. If you're good with a multimeter you should be able to tone it out and check the switch and make sure there are no breaks in the armature circuitry. If not start with the cheapest part say a switch, and then if that doesn't work move up to replacing the armature and casing. EBay has a lot of new parts for these hammers at a reasonable price.

Had two Boss Plows one straight one V. Went Fisher this time I had enough of the Boss 13 pin connector that’s next to impossible to connect in cold weather and is a crappy design! The return springs on the V plows are notorious for breaking too!
@danczuba
@danczuba 4 месяца назад
Yeah unfortunately the 13 pin connector is probably the weakest point.... I feel that the western plow hooks up the best but I like how the RT3 boss plows are all universal. It's almost like the great debate of what is better... Milwaukee or DeWalt?? They have their pros and their cons but once you get so far invested in a certain brand you have no choice but to be brand loyal. We have had every brand of plow and they all have their pros and cons. Stay safe out there!

Thanks for the video. I’ve got a similar issue with my stock tv antenna base breaking off among other stuff but that’s a whole different story. So I’m curious why did you go with an upgrade vs say purchasing another base for your existing antenna? Also I heard you say Omni directional so does that mean it doesn’t matter what direction it faces it will search for a channel? My toy hauler had an antenna but it wasn’t the type I could maneuver. It simply just sat there. So I was thinking of either purchasing another base for it or upgrading to a newer one all together. Also does yours have a motor inside that moves the antenna around inside the dome to search for channels? Thanks. I’m new to owning an Rv so any help is much appreciated.
@danczuba
@danczuba 8 месяцев назад
This one sits a little lower than the stock antenna. I was having issues with trees and stuff hitting and breaking the factory antenna. This one covers 360°. It basically has a disc style antenna inside, no motor or moving parts. It is also a Wi-Fi booster and some other options that I have not yet taken advantage of. I just like it because it is a cleaner install and most of the higher end coaches are coming with this style antenna now.
@Knuckledragnation

@@danczubaI’ve got another question. I’m about close to purchasing this antenna and installing it. After watching several videos on installing a tv antenna I’m curious is it as simple as disconnecting the coaxial cable and connecting it to the new one plus of course the sealing part? Reason I ask is keep hearing about amplification or amplifying the signal?
@danczuba
@danczuba 4 месяца назад
I just hooked up the coaxial cable and it works just fine. There is the optional Wi-Fi booster so you may have a couple extra wires chilling in there; but you don't have to hook them up.

My wipers still run when the truck is turned off. Could it be the fuse block like you replaced causing that
@danczuba
@danczuba 8 месяцев назад
That is a strong possibility. It could be a stuck relay. There are relays built into the fuse block that are non-serviceable. Another possibility would be a bad switch but usually the switches work or they don't.

@@danczuba I just sold my s70 that I’ve owned for 5 years now. So I’m wondering exactly what are some of the reasons a tracked unit is better
@danczuba
@danczuba 8 месяцев назад
@@joerouth6255 tracks go good on any terrain and more importantly are more gentle on lawns. Tracked machines require more expensive repairs when they wear, but offer less ground pressure per square inch. We use the MT 10 times to 1 over the full size skid steer. @danczuba

You may consider adding a leveling kit to the front end of the truck. Otherwise you will have to travel with the plow and more of a "straight" position, to avoid the corners hitting the pavement on bumps.

Boss V plows are well thought out. Many nice little features hidden in the SmartTouch2 hand controller. Like making a V - plow act like a simple straight blade when angling or combined V back or V forward configurations and auto float and auto raise and auto drop. And auto sleep mode for when you forget to turn off the controller before you pick up your 6 year older and they start pushing buttons while you are not looking as you're going down the road.
