I'm 38 years old and live in Bideford in North Devon,., in the southwest of South West England. I suffer from Schizophrenia, anxiety, insomnia and depression. I am taking Diazepam and am tapering off it and used to be prescribed (and dependent on) Oxycontin (Hill Billy Heroin) and now I transferred that addiction for 80ml of Methadone each day. I was prescribed 30mg Diazepam (Valium), Pregabalin (Lyrica) 800mg, 7.5mg zopiclone and was FORCED off these in two days in hospital - even though [at the time] I had been physically dependent on benzodiazepine tranquilisers and z drugs for 16 years and dependent on the Pregabalin for about 3 years, which made zero impact on the decision the rather rash, over the top ‘“Psychiatrist" “made which has more than taken it's toll on my mental health.I have now stopped Methad0ne find turkey & it’s impossible to sleep now - I have had ~14 hours sleep in roughly 34 days now!

I went from 600 to 0mg. That was messed up. Nightmares, sweeting, hot, cold, shaking, massive problems sleeping, sick unreal sense of having to move my feet. I even had to shave before bed, because only a little bit hair hurt when putting my face on the pillow. I used no sleeping meds or other drugs, no alcohol or weed. This lasted about 8 weeks, first 4 was the worst. I had to try, because the internet said is was impossible. But along with the Lyrica redrawl easing up, my anxiety or fight flight mode came back. I went back to 300/300 tried methadone for a week, without knowing it, or rather did not remember it. Reduced Lyrica to 150/150, but felt like 0/0. Then I got told I probably had redrawl from methadone, now that stuff is addictive as heck. 7 days and you're going to have a hard time. But as I had been on 150/150 Lyrica for a week, I just updated the dose to 300/300 and was fine. Now I spent 2 weeks on 150/150 Lyrica, and just went down to 75/75 plus 75 for sleep. Planing to do 75/75 from next week. So what have I learned. From 300/300 to 150/150 can be done without to many issues. From 150/150 to 75, you need to do 75/75/75 for a while. But brake it up into morning, afternoon and 75 before bed, else you will have a short and unhealthy sleep. With 75 before sleep, you can get a good night sleep, up to 11 12h, whiteout, un rest in feet, and a hard time getting sleep. You can do Xanax 1mg before bed, and cut the 75mg Lyrica before bed, but for no more than 5 days, else you will get some redrawl from that as well. But it makes the transition to 75/75 more easy. Tried it ones before that way. You can also use Xanax for the final dip to 0, but I suggest doing 50/50 than 25/25, than dip to 0 with some sleeping meds or and Xanax.

Just came across your video....I'm from Australia and I've been researching my family history, and have discovered many ancestors came from the Devon area in the 1830s to 1860s (Sampford Courteney, Moreton Hampstead , Abbottskerswell, etc).
