There was a murder at that hotel. Two people murdered the old owner and put him in the water softener. Before they killed him they tortured him leaving him in a mattress in a shed making him sign checks so they could buy crack. He came down from Chicago to fire the man running the place for him for stealing money. True story. They beat him with a hammer. So sad
That bridge is terrifying looking I could neverrrrr go in that. No rails or nothin!! I wish Abby and Libby could have just pushed the murderer off the bridge 😔
Your question implies that the devotees live in great opulence while not caring for others. This could not be further from the truth. If you go to the palace you will see that none of the devotees live there. New Vrndavan is a religious community dedicated to simple living and high thinking. This palace was built as a memorial monument to their spiritual master and founder of Iskcon A C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabupada. This palace was built with great devotion and sacrifice by the New Vrndavan inhabitants. This specific community is a farm community and will care for those who visit for short or long term. Those temples in the city have more active outreach program.
I think it says more about you not knowing what you’re going to get for $35 a night & expecting the Ritz in a small town with a population of less than 5k. I guarantee if I go to your hometown I’ll find some trash people there too.
Beautiful place and 90% of their people are amazing nice people .. but the ones at the top that have the $$ and the political powers..... yea . Not so much
This place is crazy. There’s crackheads all around our Walmart and we dead serious just have ppl stumbling around town especially near hot spot and city park constantly drugged out of their minds😭
Just came from Greys live… I have been wondering about that fuckin Chewbacca coming up for a while… even searched “I will be Chewbacca if you want me too” just the other night cause it cracks me up every time. I can’t believe I found this! Great video. You gotta learn from Grey to just tell people to fuck off that comment nonsense on your vid’s!
Hello everyone I lived in rochester since third grade, I'm now 19 and still stuck here lol. Wouldn't recommend ever living here, seen a lot of stuff that I really messed with me when growing up here. First would be the hotel you stayed at, when we first came here in general just a crappy place to say the least. I remember staying in one of the rooms there and playing Warhawk on my father's ps3 the rooms are not worth it at all. 2nd the schools there are trash, when I was in third grade the teacher would dump out our desk if they were disorganized when we were at lunch and recess. And give us dirty looks when we asked questions about when we were supposed to go to speech classes and such. Later Riddle called cps on us 3-4 times on us, and the rent-a cop pulled one of my brothers into a unused room and told him he would go to jail if he didn't do his homework. In the middle school the teachers would treat us like prisoners and they were the jail guards lmao, serve us pretty much card board food and generally made us feel stupid and called you out if you answered a question wrong. When I was in high school if they felt like you weren't going to get your core 40 they would give you kindergarden packets to do to rub salt in the wound. On top of that there now current principle was found drinking with a bunch of middle schoolers in the middle of the lake on a boat, (he used to be the middle school princple). I was lucky enough to get my core 40 in that hell hole. 3rd when I was growing up here I remember running into a Crack head at the lady bug which is a laundry Matt with my mother bc we didn't have the water turned on thanks to the Crack heads we where renting from. You find all sorts of messed up stuff here and people who say if you don't like it here get then out I've been trying for the last 4-5 years of my life but life sucks as we all know. 4th there's nothing for us kids to do here besides getting drunk or high off of dank stuff and sit at home. 5th the McDonald's is over run with Crack heads. Damn I feel like a prodistant giving 45 reasons why the catholics where wrong back In medieval time lmfao.
seams about right but im from a smaller worse town called winamac and the sad part is we would go to rochester to go to Walmart hand walk around that was considered fun to me and my friends =( thankfully now i live in florida lol.
Why are you screaming with your use of all caps? It confirms everyone’s suspicion that Rochester is a town filled with very angry and psychotic people.
Its actually INSANE that this place exists,, to have a set this huge (literally a whole community) and for this many years... I know its impractical and not happening, but It would be a spectacular and unique museum or tourist place after the show ended. They could deck out each building with props and notes about scenes shot in those areas... its just so rare that a set this big and full is able to be set up and used as a practical location. Great for the actors and also for the production in the long run. Twd us a unique and lucky show to have gotten to have a private set like this
Me and my family moved away last year on March 24th 2021 because of Ted Denton that freaking idiot, (he was screwing up my dads job) and we moved to Seymour Indiana and we have a better home. but i have no friends. I am 12 and I was 10 when we moved. I have 9 older siblings, so there is 10 of us and same mother and father, but the first 5 children were born, they lived in Louisiana but we moved to Indiana. Rochester is Rottenchester and kinda sucks.
Thank you for your share I was searching for something about Rochester Indiana and there’s a house there that’s a good price with a acre of land but after seeing what you share I believe I’m going to keep looking
Nice video. Unfortunately, the year I took my family there, around 1994 or '96, it was a terrible visit. The garden was overgrown with weeds and dying flowers, the devotee inside at the front desk was very unfriendly, and when we went down the hill to the main bldg, there was no Prasadam. There was, however, another unfriendly devotee. Sorry, but it was the way I'm describing it. The entire visit sucked. .
I like the looks of it it’s a very nice looking little town but I honestly believe in the show they should expand it even more and make it bigger so that we have plenty of land for growing crops and stuff more houses to build that again Alexandra is a nice looking town you should become stronger
