First of all it wasn't Peter who killed Ananias and Saphirra it was God who struck them, and Peter would be horrified to hear anyone claim otherwise. In the same way, Peter made it clear in Acts 3;12 that it is God alone who heals. Secondly the death of Ananias and Saphirra had nothing to do with them not tithing, but was because they lied to God (Acts 5;3,4). Witholding money from the sale wasn't the problem, but lying and testing the Spirit of God was.

I'm a Pakeha born again Christian. I believe you guys are one of the keys to restore race equality in this country. How wonderful to hear Polynesian whanau to serve people but mostly to be believers in Christ. Listening to this blog takes the time back to when a lot of Māori peoples in the 60s -late 80s drinking culture was Thursday -Saturday pub hangouts.
