i was the exact opposite. i worked only on myself until age 25, i was broke as a joke living with dad. age 25 i became 48 states trucker. it led to financial prosperity for a while, i then switch to work on myself. and these was good times. but now im broke as a joke again, so current finances plays a role in the decision also.

🎉 Congratulations on the shout out, and your sobriety!!! You are beautiful and you seem genuinely happy and grateful for your blessings. It shows in your smile and your eyes! Getting sober is not easy, and you should be so proud of yourself. I've been there too...and it's hard when it's something your doctor prescribes, cause ya keep telling yourself "eh, it can't be THAT bad for me". (That's how I justified it.) I was on oxycontin for 10 years and I had to do an extremely slow taper to get clean without withdrawals. But yeah...keep doing what you're doing...sobriety looks fabulous on you!! 👏🏽
