Met David Hayter during a game festival in Chile. He was super nice and even recorded a video for a friend of mine. Another time when I applied for a job in the german film industry I had a chance to talk to him via Skype and recorded the conversation to show it to my future employer. I got the job thanks to Solid Snake. Absolute legend.
Ah, this was excellent. But..there are 2 other secrets worth noting. While in the vents looking for darpa chief, you’ll find Meryl doing workouts on her bed. Leave and come back 3 times and she will be in her undergarments. Also catch her in her undergarments if you chase her into the bathroom quick enough later. And of course, all the ghosts you can find in the game. Those are always cool.
"What do we want that they haven't done before?" New tracks New story mode Great graphics Super fast gameplay And most importantly of all mass online multiplayer Could you imagine racing against 30 people online with peoples ships blowing up all around you as you speed around? It would be awesome.
I've been playing MGS since it was released and it's my fave game of all time. Yet I still discover new stuff about it. Truly a masterpiece. Oh and David Hayter is the boss!
I liked David Hayter even before he was known for his Solid Snake role. He started in Guyver: Dark Hero - a movie I watched a trillion times as a kid : ) Thank you for being awesome, David!
I still am firmly of the believe that the "bad" ending of MGS1 is the superior one. There's much more bitter beauty and lessons to be learned in Snake losing a woman he's fallen for and finding comfort in the friendship of the charming but good-hearted computer geek he met than just a cliche, fairy tale "And they lived happily ever after" shot of the man and woman riding off into the sunset.
The alternate skin for Agro isn't the only "ICO" reference. Let's not forget about the Queen's Sword. And if you're playing the PS4 remake, there's also the watermelon at the far end of the beach. If we're really lucky we'll get a Definitive Edition of the game in 2025 to celebrate the 20th anniversary. This could be an expanded version of the PS4 remake or maybe another remaster of the PS2 version with added content. We're almost certain to get something to celebrate the occasion. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
Man, it's nice hearing David Hayter narrating again. Seeing Snake and Otacon on the screen, I kinda wish to have Christopher Randolph also, maybe together with David in this kinda of video.
Its weird how THREE developers each have their story about obsessing over Lugia and falling in love with her. . Shudo, Lugia's designer grew regretful that he didn't push his high ups harder for Lugia to be female . James Turner, Shadow Lugia's designer who calls her his "dark child" and now the composer of HGSS dreaming about Lugia
Looking back now. When ocelot is typing on the computer with one hand I like to think that that is years of experience from being with big boss and diamond dogs lol. All that tech... you know ocelot had a few computer run-ins here and there.
Man, that animator couldn't catch a break when working on the game. The other developers are right though, no way an old man in the early 2,000 who has just lost his dominant arm would be able to work a computer that fast XD I guess Ocelot worked in tech at some point in his life and after he got his arm chopped off he spent the entire night alternating between practicing his gun flipping and practicing one handed keyboard typing.
