Hey! Thanks so much for joining me here in my little corner of the internet.
A little about me ,My name is Jes, I'm a mama to two toddlers, a loss mama, a military wife, I married my high school sweetheart, and i have had a hysterectomy at 29 , and have been diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondilitis !
I love to share and connect, and if i can help anyone with the lessons ive learned in life, its made it all worth the while!
It was challenging and unbearable because of how critical my health situation was. but I am grateful and happy to have ordered Dr Aluda herbal supplements on RU-vid which I used and it shrunk my multiple fibroids completely ✨✨
I also have AS and am doing my second loading dose of Cimzia tonight. I did my thigh last time, and want to do my stomach tonight but was feeling a bit nervous and wanted to see someone else do it first. Thanks for boosting my confidence and reminding me I'm not alone in this!
No it’s affect for ur fertility and to get pregnant coz me I am trying also to get pregnant That’s why the doctor give me this medicine. Goodluck for us hope and pray we conceive this year pray for you🙏🏻♥️
Thank you for sharing this! I’m on day 16 po and I have been feeling the same way as you. I have definitely been over doing it so thanks for the reminder.
Thank you darling this help me a lot the last time April 23 my first dose but the nurse who help me push a lot comes to my bones was so painful now I try in abdomen it’s better I didn’t feel anything 🙏🏻❤️🔥😊
In case anyone is watching this and wanting more input. So , just got back from my check-up post surgery. All went well during surgery (had everything removed) and I am healing on-time. One note, in my case they decided to do a pelvic exam this time (I thought they'd wait until week 6) and they ended up using a bit of silver nitrate to seal one small area near the cuff. I am sharing so you can be prepared! It was painful. So, if. you THINK you will need an internal exam and any amt of silver nitrate I highly suggest taking tylenol/advil or even like 1/2 a pain med to get you through it. It wasn't horrible but it also wasnt' FUN. If you have a lower pain tolerance I suggest this even more...JUST one experience...that I haven't seen discussed too much on YT..
Im going on 5 weeks post op on Feb 8th. I just started moving around a little by little at 3 1/2 weeks. But, exhausting is right so I can relate. My doctor said, that I will feel exhausted from time to time cause my body had alot of trauma to it. But, for those that read this just listen to your body.
Thanks, this is exactly what I am struggling with at the start of week 5. I'm really frustrated that I can't do more. It helps to know I'm not alone in this.
I didnt know it comes in a pen form. I get mine in a syringe and inject at an angle. You must live in the UK or Canada becuase they dont supply that in the states
I am just starting it today, I have been through 3 others over the past two years simponi worked great but fell off after about 8 months hoping this one is it
I am 3 weeks post op. Just wanted to know did anyone suffer from urine incontinency/leak? I suffer from leak even if my bladder is not full. Is it just me? Its so frustrating.
@@islamicdawah2737 turns out there was a tiny hole in my bladder caused during my hysterectomy. Got it operated and by grace of God now all ok. Thanks for asking 😊
I love your videos on this Such a help I’m Day 17 today post lapros Hysta And exact same as you just finished 3 day anti biopics for uti These are common post Hysta op ? I am same as you not like the restrictions but know I have to Slow walking increased daily I find essential You must be great by now ??
I am 3 weeks and 3 days post op laparoscopic hysterectomy and I feel wonderful! The pain really stopped after day 2. I stopped pain meds day 3. No bleeding at all since the surgery. I do experience belly and back soreness. My sleep has not been the best due to avoiding stomach sleeping. I’m walking up to three miles a day which has been refreshing to have something meaningful to do every day. I’m grateful for time away from work and just doing things at my own pace. It’s been a really positive experience so far.
@@Michelle-pn9xtbecause you’re not supposed to. Most doctors will tell you that you can go back after two weeks, some four or six depending on what kind of job you have. If you have a desk job, 2 weeks is most likely. If you have a very physical job then it’ll likely be 4-6 weeks. It’s because your body was put through a traumatic thing. It needs the time to heal.
This is so helpful thank you! My wife is starting Cimzia tonight. Is there anything you would recommend to do/eat/drink immediately after your first two injections? Thanks so much
Thx I’m 63 & in week 3 ….wee bit of spotting & yes going to the bathroom at least 3 x’s per night but mostly feeling fatigue. Glad I bought a waist binder from medical products store to give me support I used essential oils on my tummy for cramping & gas.
I am scared to take it due to reading about possible infections, ms, cancer etc. Is there anything that made you feel at ease about taking cimzia despite the negative possibilities?
I had two shots today, first time. I’m also scared of those side effects you mentioned but I decided to try. We will see how it goes, trusting my doctor atm.

Hi! I’ve just had my first loading dose of Cimzia today & no pain. Thank you so much for your videos showing the use of the pre-filled pen. I felt certain I’d be okay but just watching you inject put me at ease. The videos you’ve posted are a few years old….any chance of an update? It would be great to know you’re okay & have your pain under control.
I've been on cimzia for a year now for my RA and I've never been able to inject in my stomach freaks me out too much and my cimzia Injection always seems to ache really bad when I inject. I take cimzia every 2 weeks, but I also inject methotrexate once a week which I do in my stomach. Compared to the cimzia the methotrexate injection is like getting a nettle sting. I used to be so afraid of injections and needles and now I don't even bat an eye at them. Just another day another Injection and living with RA. Thanks for the video it's nice to see other people sharing their stories makes me feel less alone with dealing with RA ❤
This was a very helpful video. I am 18 dpo. Feeling stir crazy and guilty for taking so much time to recover. I am glad I found this video before I pushed myself too soon. Thank you.
I am almost 3 weeks post op, I'm feeling great. I stopped taking the Tylenol & Ibp that they give you, I never even received the oxy. I don't have real pain unless sneezing now. I've been walking around and riding in the car, sweeping and mopping (probably shouldn't). I was really nervous about the recovery stage just from looking at other stories, however my story is totally the opposite. Good luck and stay strong to those who are going to have the surgery.
@rachelcoleman4693 Hi, I am feeling great still, more energy, no pains anywhere. I've gained healthy weight but that was because I was trying to gain more muscle (I work out 4/5 times a week). I think the only thing that has been a tad bit off lately is bowel movement it's either every 2 to 4 days. I'm not sure if that's anything to be worried about.
I am 2 wpo and painful bowel movements and paiful wee also not preasure while wee. I know that its still early but I am wondering when it will be normal😢
Thanks for sharing your story. I’m in the process of a hysterectomy and colonectomy and I’m so worried about how long I’ll be out of work as I’m a nanny and what things I will and won’t be able to do when I get back. Wondering if I need a therapist beforehand cuz I’m more worried about asking for help after surgery and not being able to work rather than being in pain lol
Hello how do you feel now? Has your energy returned?? If so how long did it take? I had a total hysterectomy Jan 21st, 2023 and I hardly have energy for anything. I am 48 yrs old and my daughter is 18 so no young ones to take care of like you but I feel so alone in this, I hate not having energy! And on top of that I have insomnia😩
@@islamicdawah2737 it is not abnormal. It’s been 1 year and 6 months now for me and I still get odd pains in my abdomen. My incision actually opened back up in one corner 😔 it was a nightmare. I am praying for a great recovery for you.
I was diagnosed at 26 years old with AS. I fought so hard to try to stay off a biologic drug. I do live in America. I tried shots, acupuncture, yoga and water physical therapy. But when I hit 35 it seems like everything just got bad. I had to go on a biologic and I first went on Humeria. It worked for about two years. Them I went on Remicaid. It worked for a long time. I am now 45 and I have built antibodies on Remicaid and they are trying Cimzia. It is a struggle. I feel weak and tired all the time. The day after the injections my blood pressure will tank super low. It has been a struggle for me.
Me too! I had a total hysterectomy Jan 21st and I'm so exausted and drained! I also have insomnia😢 I pray all this goes away for both of us and we can feel back to normal soon🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
