No way these strippers way to small all the fish used to be so big they wouldnt fit in the fridge. The bay is over fished no salmon we only left with bullheads and sharks!
Is the fishing still good like this, or does it have its up and downs, even with the halibut/bottom fish? I fished at Ft. Point right under the gate as a kid, but never got out to use those charters. Seems like a lot of fun.
Striper were introduce in the west in the 1900. In Apirl you can fish for striper under the golden gate bridge by those rock. I will be heading there when they are running through.
Go to the fishsniffer dot COM, My usher name is WesternStriper. Give me a holla then I help you out. Starting in the MID March, Striper should be roaming through the Delta. Sacramento river run will be early or late March, through out its system. March run will be the big striper and around April will run the smaller one. To bad through, the fish & game announce that there only about 275,000 of adult striper in the delta, but they plan to plant 3,000,000 adult striper. Stiper were introduce here
Try at pacifica, striper are always there in the month of four and fifth or even on the six. Use lure like pencil popper. When you see seagull dashing into the water then that is the time to cast ur lure to it, guranteed you catch one...
