Wonderful car… not sure why it didn’t sell well they tried it all and even gave it AWD with a 380 hp V6 Ftype AJ engine…..this one is on the public it should have sold way way more

Bought my 2011 XJ L outright a little over a year ago now. Still absolutely in love. Hands down my prized possession. Along with my ‘76 XJ6 L, of course. I will say, I really wish Jaguar would bring back the XJ as the flagship model. The brand just isn’t the same anymore. The XJ is such a special machine, and has been for decades. It’s the top dog (or cat). Please bring it back Jaguar. 🙏🏼
May I suggest that your rear Jaguar badge would be better without the word Jaguar under the cat. Just the image of the cat is more subtle and will show that spelling out the name is unnecessary.
I can't see how to set a target charge level which means it keeps charging until it reaches 100%. I'm a low mileage user who doesn't need 100% after every charge.
You can’t. The charging system is very basic and leaves alot to be desired. You should be able to set a percentage charge eg 80% . You should be able to set it to charge only in certain time periods etc. I tend to work out roughly when it’s going to get to 80% and set an alarm on the phone which is pretty poor for a quality car.
It’s about time JLR sorted themselves out and reinstated the ability for owners to smart charge their cars with companies like Octopus and OVO. It’s a disgusting shame that you are claiming security when in fact we all know it’s pure pathetic profiteering. You new protocols are easily bypassed by the people you claim to be excluding so it’s definitely nothing to do with security. For once would JLR actually show that it in fact cares for its customers, and more importantly, the environment….

Plenty of other companies allow it. You have now increased our charging costs and stopped energy companies balancing the grid as much, so negative environmental impact. Not good enough.

Why would you have the sensor on the offside that's a danger! for the back Hatch, you got handful of shopping and you're trying to open it and you lose your balance and end up falling into the road and get run over yeah sensible, why isn't in the middle of the back of the car or near side?
