I have a hopper that is new but was not used in years and when i connect it to the coin machine, nothing happens, other than the red out of order light coming on. AC500 if you have Hopper Fail code and its not dispensing Coins that means Bigger coins such as Dollar coins are Lodged in so empty the hopper out and take those coins out and refill it it will work i just did that to mine.
I purchased a used machine for my students as a fund raiser. I had to cycle the power to reset the validator. It took $3 and now it only sucks it in a little and spits it back out. Tried cleaning it with no luck. Any ideas what i need to do? It is a coinco MAG50B. Are there any plug and play "upgrades" or replacements available? We only sell $1 drinks.

pretty much same here. Mine worked fine until recently and now it just nibbles the dollar briefly before spitting it out. Cleaned the whole thing and it still does this, I just sell sodas about at-cost in my fire station.
Thank you so much for this video! I was able to get a dead MEI bill validator to power up. The issue is now I see a long flashing red light when it turns on. Have you had any experience fixing that on a bill validator?
What was wrong with the one that wouldn't take a bill but it's startup just fine mine is doing the same thing and the indicator light stays on with no error
Doug my machine has a TRC-6800. It was working good for about 3 months and now it randomly discharges the dimes that are in stored in the tube. Even when the reserve tube is empty you can hear it randomly trying to discharge them. Would retune help with this. Or is it another issue that could be fixed a different way?
Follow up to my previous comment. I took the CAC apart and I think the plunger mechanism is bad for the dime. The dime nickel and quarter plunger are wired to one electrical plug. Can a guy replace the dime plunger only do you have an outlet for these parts?

when i was removing the side with the sensor board the heads (6)snapped off! I never had that happen while taking screws off. Any suggestion on how to get the broken studs out of the plastic. Tried easy out and small drive bit but i think the screws are stainless so i have not been able to drill them out

Hi I just got a Dixie narco 480. It has a similar set up to the one you show here but the bill validator seems to plug directly into the model with the mode button. The bill validator has no power. What should I check?
Can the Hopper select ever be set to say 0 by mistake, ie no Hopper, Or does it only have function 1 hopper or 2 Hopper. then the machine would say no Comms Hopper

I hate the eBay shipping BS. Every sale I've had has ended up with eBay saying USPS has charger them more do to my error on packaging. After today I'm done with eBay.
I stopped selling on ebay because I had a run of bad luck with bad buyers. Their platform is low traffic and their fees have become too high to risk being a seller on there. I went from "preferred" or whatever the top status is to being on the verge of suspension within one month and of course I lost a lot of $$.
My display screen went blank. LED next to switch is blinking. Outside error light is off. When powered on machine will not “cycle” as usual. Any suggestions?
The power supply seems to be working as the light is on. The control board itself has likely failed. They make 2 boards, 1st is for 1 validator and the Super U is for changers with 2 validators. I've got an old pepsi vendng machine (can type) I believe from the 70's. The coin mech is the 6200C model. When I deposit coins, they all drop directly to the change slot. What can I do to fix this? Also, this may be a silly question, but does it matter if there are no cans to vend. yet?
