Welcome! I’m ntropolis, bringing you vintage broadcast TV airchecks from the Carolinas, Virginia and beyond.
I began collecting recordings of local broadcast television in 2003 when I stumbled upon some VHS tapes in my family's home. It was then I became fascinated with these windows to the past, and ever since, I've obtained hours worth of local TV presentation through the years. I've also made my own recordings of local newscasts in an effort to preserve the past. I hope you enjoy what you see on my channel! Be sure to subscribe so you'll be the first to know when I upload something new.

These commercials aired early in my freshman year (1993-94). I remember the ABC promos that featured the rap song called "Whoop, There It Is" for November 1993.
I'm looking for any Fox syndicated promos from WTAT, specifically any Ducktales, Tale Spin, Gummi Bears, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Video Power, Toxic Crusaders, Captain Planet, The Bullwinkle Show, G.I. Joe (DIC series), James Bond Junior, Darkwing Duck, Adventures of The Little Mermaid, K-TV, Wide World of Kids, Bucky O'Hare & the Toad Wars!, Inspector Gadget, Goof Troop, Chip 'n Dale's Rescue Rangers, Woody Woodpecker, The Wizard of Oz, Saban's Gulliver's Travels, Saban's Around the World in Eighty Dreams, King Arthur and the Knights of Justice, Beakman's World, Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Bonkers, Mighty Max, Exosquad, Double Dragon, Biker Mice From Mars, Stone Protectors, Adventures In Wonderland, Garfield and Friends, Bill Nye The Science Guy, Iron Man, Timmy the Tooth, The Baby Huey Show, Fantastic Four, Aladdin: The Series, G.I. Joe Extreme, Mega Man, Mighty Ducks, Quack Pack, The Why Why? Family, Vibe, 101 Dalmations: The Series, Mummies Alive!, The Wacky World of Tex Avery, Beast Wars: Transformers (previously aired on WBNU/WMMP WB/UPN 36), Van-Pires, and The New Adventures of Zorro, and other programs from the 90's during that point?
Jim Bakker is still a greedy man who used The PTL Club’s money to pay “hush money” to Jessica Hahn. Jim Bakker used God’s name to scam people for nothing but supporting a lavish lifestyle and he is still at it through his doomsday prophecy.
Andy Gellar is menacing I love that. He excels in some areas even LaFontaine did not. And they're both great. He did UPN and ABC. Some other guy did UPN first, then it was Gellar and LaFontaine combined.
I'm going to guess that your favorite NFL team are the Panthere, your favorite MLB team are the Orioles, your favorite NBA team are the Hornets, and your favorite NHL team are the Hurricanes
Graduation Day Part 2 was originally scheduled to air on May 25,1999 but when that day came The WB ended up airing a repeat episode from the 3rd Season “Band Candy” due to the fact that The Columbine High School Shooting occurred on April 20,1999 which also caused the 18th Episode of the 3rd Season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer “Earshot” to be pulled from its original scheduled airdate April 27,1999 and was delayed. Graduation Day Part 2 would air on July 13,1999 and The WB would air “Earshot” on September 21,1999 which the network promoted the episode as a “NEVER BEFORE SEEN BUFFY”. I remember it well
@@ntropolis Yep, I did recognize the infamous Columbine School shooting 25 years from now. And that affected the entertainment industry back then deeply.
@@JHollowayNetwork Why yes, one of the four things that affected television (the other three were, the 9/11 attack, the 2007-08 WGA strike, and the COVID-19 pandemic).

WGN-TV also carried The WB Affiliation on its national superstation feed on Cable outside of Chicago for 4 years just to get stations to take The WB Affiliation as well as small markets until the launch of The WB 100+ Stations Group (originally known as The WeB until March 1999) on September 21,1998 which gave cable subscribers in smaller markets a cable only WB Affiliate. The WB Programming would be removed off its superstation feed come the Fall 1999 Season with Kids WB Programming replaced with Syndicated Programming on September 6,1999 followed by WB Primetime Programming replaced with Theatrical Movies on October 7,1999. In Chicago WB Primetime Programming aired on WGN-TV while Kids WB Programming aired on WCIU 26 until it moved to WGN-TV on September 12,2004.
