Decades ago there was an episode of NAKED CITY - the story line involved a civilian who would dress up as a cop and pretend to be on foot patrol. On day, there is a shooting on his beat, and the saga slowly unravels. The fake cop was Stephen Hill, and the shooting suspect was, I think, Dustin Hoffman, in two small scenes.
What’s nuts is how PERFECT they wrote for the Gibson character. I have known my fair share of “Gibsons” especially in New York City. Insane. The entire episode, every annoying lazy slouch action and sentiment. So many gibsons in nyc back in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Excellent, in the know writers on this excellent show.
Probably wisest not to put doctors on some pedestal, check out the disciplinary findings from your local Medical Board if you'd like to learn the truth about what some doctors get up to.
I love this show . But RU-vid should do something about the quality. The audio and videos are bad . Nothing serial wise . Extremely disappointed with RU-vid.
Charlotte Ross made that whole relationship with the Andy character believable. Setting up young women with older men is a Hollywood fantasy. I'm not saying it never happens, but usually it involves some guy that's loaded. Only in the minds of the Hollywood moguls, do these young women have this kind of interest in all these old men.
John Irvin’s father has congestive heart failure. Sounds like he has to have a heart first before that particular organ goes sideways. The actor who plays him, Bill Brochtrup, is gay in real life but he never waved his orientation in anybody’s face. Great acting from him. Side note: every time IAB weenie Captain Fraker visits Lieutenant Rodriguez it’s to bust his balls. Fraker eventually shot Rodriguez point blank, only to be shot In return by police detective Rita Ortiz. There was a courtroom trial, of course, and Fraker was found not guilty thanks to a clever shyster defense attorney. Just went to show, life isn’t fair.
It’s hard to believe that NYPD BLUE ran from 1993 to 2005. Aside from the technology of the times, this show looks like it was made yesterday. The rapid-fire editing was mostly done by Farrel Levy and Etienne Des Lauriers. The magnificent cinematography was done on most of the episodes by Lex DuPont, whose credits included STAR TREK V: THE FINAL FRONTIER (1989), TWBGO & CASH (1989), PRIVATE PRACTICE (2007-2013), and CHICAGO MED (2015-2021). It’s also hard to believe that, aside from the NYC location footage, the entire series was filmed in Los Angeles at Universal Studios and at 20th Century-Fox Studios!
My father and I haven't spoken in 5 years after the horrible shit he said to me. He wrote me off and we haven't spoken since. He's 83 and I'd like reestablish contact but I don't want to get hurt again.
If what he said is not true forgive him for saying it.If what he said is true still forgive him and more importantly forgive yourself. You have to remember when you get older you might have dementia or have no restraint. Look After☺️
Been there, lived that too. My Dad took a walk on me and two younger brothers when I was 11. We were estranged ever since. Enlisted in the U.S.Air Force, made it through Vietnam, heroin addiction and a divorce, still a better life than what I had to deal with with him. He died of brain cancer in 20 16 at the age of 84 and my only regret was that I wasn't there to pull the plug and watch him die.
