In your vid you say the gas tank is not rusted out not sure if you know or not but the gas tank is a all aluminum gas tank and can be sanded down wet sanded and polished to look like chrome I did mine and man it is badass
Open the drain bolt at the bottom.of the water pump first, pop the rad cap off, then once youve removed the resevoir it'll be drained...no waiting or removing/stressing your hoses. Planning your order of operations or reading the servive manual will make doing a proper job quick and easy.
I don't like to chop up any of my tractors either, especially the hoods. I like to take my tractors to tractor supply and try a few belts until I find the right one. Love your cute John Deere!

I’ve had AWS and normal, I personally don’t like the AWS - hard to mow straight or drive straight. You can lock out the AWS and convert it to normal. 445 / 455 are great machines.
That handle you didn't know is the the parking brake lever on the lower right. I have a work great condition e224. You push both brake pedals in all the way and move that lever switch by the brake pedals and it should hold the tractor in place to prevent rolling, of course take it out of gear too. The only difference I see from mine to your is mine. On your tyranny shifter. I don't have a 4th gear, in that spot is my starting gear position and I have toove the shifter and hold it in that position while turning the key to make my tractor e224 start up.
As an owner of an XLT Mav, i look at this not as a truck, but more like a lite weight pick up wagon. Obviously its not made for rugged off road it doesn’t have a locking front n rear differential the transmission is just engineered for an all wheel drive lite wt vehicle.
So how can you keep your food cold if you’re camping and don’t have a power source other than the solar panel if the fridge turns off once you plug the solar panel in?
