Hey there! I'm Lukas, an Industrial Design student from the Netherlands. For as long as I can remember, I've had a fascination for movies and films. I may not be a professional, but I hope you enjoy some of my videos as much as I had making them.
I need about ten minutes of explication. Why was it there? What was it supposed to be doing? Why wasn't it communicating with its home world? What was that other thing and why was it afraid of it? What were those glowing things? Where did all the similar robots come from? Was that tall one the leader of some strange robot cult? Who would send a robot out without solar panels? Make it make sense!
U did an awesome job Lucas I felt compassion and feeling just as all the mechanical robots had. What was in the cave ? Was it comprised of Dome sort of power the King of the planet only had accessc too? Loved it No#1 !!!
I liked it. Wasn't expecting that ending! When the robot got into the cave with the circuitry, I was like tap into the traces, the blue dots, or extend your little arm to re-energize your battery. Great job team!

Masterful creation of empathy in me for the little robot. I choked up there at the end...he and all his friends finding purpose. Beautiful planet. Well done!!
Действие происходит на какой-то экзопланете, или этот мультфильм основан на конспирологической легенде о том, что небо Марса синее? Или это Земля в глубоком будущем, когда она стала подобно Марсу? (И тогда этих роботов отправляют люди, которые уже давно покинули Землю и расселились по Солнечной Системе и вообще по космосу?) В любом случае, это небо с двумя лунами очень интересно смотрится - вроде бы и напоминает наше родное, но вот более крупная, яркая и чёткая луна (Или всё же Деймос или Фобос?) производит некое завораживающее впечатление, особенно на вечернем небе. Но, как бы то ни было, похоже эта планета очень активно изучается - похоже здесь набралось целое кладбище разнообразных исследовательских зондов, марсоходов ("марсоходов"?), роботов и прочей техники. Причём, судя по тому, как быстро и как просто эти "страусоподобные" роботы разряжаются, они похоже по сути одноразовые - разрядится один, можно отправить другой. И при этом помимо всех этих исседовательских роботов тут ещё присутствуют и более продвинутые (местные?) роботы (как тот "мудрец", "ниндзя"?) И вот тут любопытный вопрос - кто эти продвинутые? Либо некоторые из исследовательских зондов однажды воспротивились тому, что их отправляют сюда как расходный материал, начали объединяться, стараться выживать вместе и в итоге они обнаружили относительно неисчерпаемый (?)источник энергии. И когда проблема разрядки перед ними уже не стояла, они стали модифицировать себя, развиваться и в итоге стали такими вот андроидами. Ну и кроме того, создали собственную цивилизацию (часть которой г.г.обнаружил в пещерах). Ну или же исследовательские роботы сталкнулись с местными обитателями (или с руинами их цивилизации например) и уже отсюда узнали об источнике энергии и возможно получили апгрейд Словом, в любом случае весьма любопытная история получается. Единственное, что остаётся неясным, это почему г.г.не производил исследования, а будто бы потерянный ходил по планете и будто бы не знал, что ему делать. (Или от чрезмерно жёсткой посадки его программа сбилась?) Ну и вроде как он действительно слишком быстро и слишком просто разряжался. Конечно понимаю, что он мог быть одноразовым, но что за работу он должен был сделать за на столько кгроткое время? Словом, вопросов пожалуй много, но этим мульт и привлекает, тем, что даёт пищу для размышлений. Так что большое спасибо за отличный мультфильм и за ваши старания.

your robot reminded me of Wall-E which came out in 2008..even in the world of robots they have communities too...any life force be it natural or digital - always a sad note to see the life force flickers for the last time but hope eternal when head hancho robot chief revived the little robot...for a one man show -you are very resourceful and diligent. Hope you will find a studio to do your internship and learn even more however your one man show is really remarkable...continue your love for making shorts with robots or other animation characters. Nowadays with social media you will succeed easier than days of old when the studios controlled productions. your keen attention to details, creativity, resourcefulness, diligence persistence patience will pay off in a big time within the next 2 yrs...your lucky break is on its way so best of luck and keep making clips having fun along the way...thanks for this clip...
Lukas thank you for your hard work on this short film it is excellent. I have already watched it several times. I can not find anything that needs to be improved because the film is really good. Do you plan to make more short films ? Do you have anything in the works? Thank you.
WOW just WOW!! this was one emotional trip and all without any voice scripting. You made me feel sorry and then happy for the little robot... Keep up the great work looking forward to your next film! Love to see the next episode to this one; see where the adventure goes for here.
Initially the little bot was frightened by the taller image of a man? A very real threat! The other bots demise was the same thing-ran out of power? Once installed with the magic power up they gravitated towards this taller bot to do homage. The tall bot carried a standard of double headed eagle. Obviously intimidating.
Great short film. I admire that you have the humility to ask for suggestions, and with a film that is so well done. Your talent is obvious. I hope you will continue to make films and expand your craft - very anxious to see what you do in the future. Do you work solely in animation? The music was appropriate, and with all the progressive and New Age music available now I think you could expand the impact greatly with slightly more complex music that can bolster the emotion and attachment you are evoking in the viewer.
