Thank you Marty! We the People! Just trying to be a decent human being to my brother and sisters! Your tunes got me through this planneddemic. Your new album is phenomenal. I finally got my Dad to listen to your tunes. "There go I" is by far his favorite. That's actually been his motto in life.
Thank you Martin, from Roseville, CA. Seen you last in Auburn. Live Wide Open has been a Soundtrack to my life. Thank you, I've seen you live prolly 10plus times. Never a dime wasted. Your are what music is supposed to be. At least in my opinion. God bless you Marty. Just a Disabled Dad of 2 trying to do my best. Godspeed brother!
I moved about 8000 miles away from my home on the east coast. The things I miss the most are my family, friends and watching you perform live brother. Love the posts. Keep them coming!
I love you so much!! What an inspiration you’ve been for my music!!! My favorite album is The American. I wore that album out!!!! Maria .. is soooo incredible. I have my own thoughts on what you were writing about. Would love to know YOUR real inspiration for that song. ❤❤❤❤❤
Martin Sexton is life for me. I just proposed to my girlfriend 2 weeks ago using the song "Marry Me". And was "backstage" at the Grand Rapids, MN show where Martin was nothing but genuine and charming. It was my 11th show, in fact. And KT is a legend!
One more reason to be thankful for this man's existence. I'm so glad that I caught your Stone Mountain Arts show after you had had a truly harrowing experience getting to the gig. There's a song in that! Peace.
This just makes me happy. I have always loved this song. Nice to hear it again from across the pond...Ireland. I have seen you live on so many occasions and you struck me as one of the greatest folk singers of all time. xo
This version of Angel from Montgomery is a jewel. Why? because the musicians are interacting with each other and truly getting inside the tune. Not just singing words.
