The figure looks incredible! I’m so glad my favorite character’s figure looks good. Sometimes manufacturers make them lopsided. Welp, I’m on my way to buy Dimitri.
It’s brought up in a surprise quest at the end of XC1, but whether or not High Entia have big/small wings is down to their DNA, it’s just Dominant and Recessive traits. Some grow big enough to fly, as evidenced by Tyrea, and some don’t, like Melia
If I remember correctly, pure High Entia have the big wings. Halfbreeds is down to DNA dominant or recesive traits, so could be born with either big or small wings. Melia was born with small wings.
Her expression is less girlish and more serious, but also a little more distracted. Makes you wonder what weighs on her aside from the battles ahead and what awaits beyond the endless now?
Give xc1 a break. Its just an old model. I sure am happy with how melia looks like now. But her old model looks like a kid still trying ot figure out how world works. And in xc3 she did just that.
I think 1 was made back when they were still making their games look realistic and it never looking right and 2 is where they told the designers "show us what you're good at" and gave us a design that actually works
Without spoiling the game, 3 is a combination of the worlds for 1 and 2. You can play the game by itself and still enjoy it, but there will be some things you won't pick up on. The events of 1 and 2 don't have a major direct impact on the story aside from Shulk making a new world in 1's end and something semi similar that happens in 2's ending (although it is nothing as huge as making a new world, just something that accomplishes something similar for the people in 2). Honestly though, I would highly recommend checking out 2 if you enjoyed 1 as there are some connections and some things in 1 will make more sense if you play 2, and then 3 is like a perfect mix of 1 and 2, but also has its own distinct identity in an amazing and well written way. If you really really want to go straight into 3, then go ahead, but I would still recommend playing 2 (and it's dlc since that gives more context to 2 and is an amazing game on its own) as 2 is a really good game. Not without its flaws, but it is still really good, and I think you will enjoy 3 (and the series as a whole) a lot better. Anyway though, I wish you the best of luck, and I hope you enjoy these games. Also, if you do decide to follow my advice and play 2, you should probably just download it since not many copies were printed and it is the second hardest of the games to get a hold of (first being 1 on the Wii). So, for 2, just download it. It will probably be a lot of space, but I would say that it would be worth it. Also going by the fact you said you don't have a Switch, I take it that you played 1 on the Wii, Wii U, or 3DS. I would like to tell you that 1 has a remake on the Switch and it even adds an epilogue that is a couple months after the base game. It is even supposed to lead into 3 a bit (although after playing 3 it doesn't do it a ton aside from one basic thing that I can't say due to spoilers, but the epilogue is about 20 hours long with 100% completion and it focuses on Melia and giving her a happy ending that finally lets her character arc come full circle). As a final note for 3, I should say for Melia, she doesn't have a major part in it. She shows up here and there, but she is hardly a major focus, as 3 mainly focuses on the main cast (they do character development very well in 3 so this is something to look forward to). As for Melia's role, although she doesn't have a major presence in the story, that very well may be different for the story dlc when that comes out. Anyway, as I said before, I hope you find yourself able to play and enjoy these games. The Xenoblade series has the best story telling I have ever seen in anything, and that is not a statement I say lightly. It just has no competition.
@@del5206 Thanks a lot for such a detailed response! Of course, If I get a Switch Ill play XC2 first, such a great series must be enjoyed properly. Also, Im currently playing X on the WiiU, it seems to be the black sheep of the series XD
@@lemmyxpro lol Im still playing my old WiiU backlog because Im too busy with work. Been playing through Xenoblade X lately. Then comes BotW, afterwards when I finish all that I might buy a Switch.
