Man, that first color would work great for clear saltwater fishing! Pretty sure the speckled trout and redfish would hammer those!! What color was that? I'll definitely get me some of that. I fish saltwater here in coastal NC and that is a great color for here. I would use the 2nd color here as well......AWESOME!!
Just subbed bro... Nice video! I like how these baits turned out! They don't look like everybody else's because I think they (EVERYONE ELSE) all go off the standard color recipes but this video was a good change from that! The first frogs where you did it backwards on accident those remind me of getting the Creepy Crawlers kit for Christmas back in 1990 or 1991 they were colorful like that and I feel like those you made will catch fish for sure! The second frogs you did look nice as well! They have that green on the top barely it looks like frog skin decaying and the orange on them make them look like when you skin a frog and can almost see the bones through the meat, I bet those will definitely slay some monsters 🤓
These look great! I have a few questions, I just got me the duel injector and I have oiled it and when I go to inject the plastic it I feel pressure coming up and feels like I really have to put a lot of pressure to get it to come out. Any ideas what I can do differently? And what is the purpose with the little piece of rod that’s attached to the blending block? One of my blending block has a thin piece of metal in it and not sure what it’s for.
Grab a paint brush and use canola oil just a tiny bit itll make it so they dont stick and also give it a shinnier tint to them instead of them looking real pail
I’m right with you man! I’ve been doing injection for a long time but just started serious hand pouring. I’m having issues with how hot the molds should be on the griddle and how hot the plastic should be when hand pouring. Any ideas if you know what I’m talking about?
I’m not sure if I have any molds that small. I will have to look when I get back in town tomorrow. No underspins yet. That will be in the future though.
Great video lots of detail I am thinking about buying a crappie jig mold and was wondering what you would recommend and what is your favorite size for crappie?
I can’t remember off the top of my head. If I have time, I’ll try to go through my storage and look for a name. I got it used off eBay, so maybe try basstackle.com
A couple tips: 1. Use your bar clamps to clamp several molds together so they won't tip over and will be held together better and won't have the flashing issue or fill the vents much either. 2. If you spray the inside of the cavities with some high heat gloss paint the baits will release and you won't have to coat the molds every time you use them. It will also give the baits a smoother finish.
