Thanks for watching, pretty much drop shot on a bait caster. Bigger baits, normally weedless hooks and heavy weights. I always called it drop shot if I use spinning or bait caster but apparently the correct name is power shot
Thanks for watching, it’s a tournament it only stayed in my livewell until the tournament was over. After weightin the bass was released back into the water.
@@Bassin513he didn’t, I asked the Daiwa rep at the lake Champlain and then another one at the St Lawrence elite event and aluminum is kinda heading away . I grabbed three of them from dicks for 139 or 149 and unfortunately 2 came left handed….but great reels
@@jimt5683 Thanks for watching, clearly this is your first video you watched of me because I now own 3 DX. Sorry I don’t feel like dropping $500 for a DRX
@@Bassin513👍👍 been doing business with them when they were in cali for a long time. if they know you a values customer, if you can reach Gary or his family members. they can give you a solid discount.
Appreciate it. I have the XP744 jig rod special. Would the DX745 or 746 compare more to it as far as power/action goes? Unless you've never fished the 744 before..
You should try the Beast Coast Gorilla swim jig they are great also I have slayed the bass on them this year especially the Natural Bream color awesome compact swim jig with hand tied and banded great skirts
Wish I got paid by the hour to cruise market place and a few other sites looking for deals on used gear I picked up three tatula sv's and six champ xp's for $650 not to long ago DC 684 cb DC 734 c fh 2x 735 c fh DC 705 cbmf
Thanks for watching that’s one heck of a find. I definitely agree on which I got paid by the hour to cruise market place. Another good place to check is American Legacy use section
Thanks for watching, overall I do enjoy it. I have one on my Kaden 744 since the start of the year. So I bought two more. If you can find a good deal definitely grab one.
Thank you for watching, no it’s not lol. it’s a lake near me that is a no-wake and the people I enjoy fishing with do tournaments there. My tournaments will be starting back up late July, then I be fishing the lake less
I have the same Lews Super Duty LFS with the flipping switch on it and it broke on the 2nd trip out. I took the real apart and you would be embarrassed at the plastic pin they have holding the flipping switch on. You expect more from Lews. I had to return mine and I’m getting another Super Duper 300 for flipping it’s a great reel but the LFS not so much. I’m big on braid to flourocarbon leader as well I run it on everything except frogs and punching
You briefly mentioned an issue or issues with trailer lights. I have the 2020 version of this exact boat and I have issues with the lights. They will work perfectly during the connection test, but then once that test is over, all the lights turn off. I replaced the 7pin trailer receptacle on my truck, but I still have the issue. Any ideas?
Thanks for watching, no item on top of my head. The issue I have now it will work all the way out then when I leave I have to unhook the connecter from truck then turn truck on and plug back in. If I don’t do those steps my lights will not work. My guess would be a ground or run new wires back to the lights on the outside of the frame to see if you have some wierd touching issues
Great video and good job on the first fish on camera for the year. Awesome blooper… glad you didn’t kill me lol😂 love all the information on the baits man. Keep it up 👍
Thank you for showing how you organize the gear. I have kept my terminal tackle in the original packages at home and only bring a few extras with me when I go out on the water -- I did really like your Plano Edge terminal tackle box yet when I looked on line those are expensive (as you mentioned I will look for a sale or perhaps get lucky at a WalMart like you did).
I have been organizing my stuff for the boat this year and moved towards the Plano edge series-definitely awesome….i use the speed bags and crank caskets from flambeau as well. Good choices and dang son you bring more than I do out there 😂😂…but it’s close. Gotta have it or you are gonna need it! Great video again! Tight lines
U seemed ok with the rod boxes. I tried them in bass pro and found it a nightmare to get the longer rods in without bending them. Other videos show guys taking the tubes out which makes for better storage. Thanks so much good video..
Thanks for watching, they are definitely not my favorite but I don’t have any problems getting them in or out. To remove them would be a lot of work and just not important enough to complete.
Thank you for watching, overall haven’t had any issues. Probably my biggest thing is with having vinyl I get no padding. Couple spots I had to fix from wear but overall would choose again.
@@Bassin513 I noticed a little bubbling in the vinyl flooring in the back during the video. Has that been a problem that has required repair? Also, how's the temperature of the floor when fishing during the summer? Can you fish bare foot? Nice video. Thanks for putting it together.
Thank you for watching, yes it bubbled up on the back. I could repair it but at this time not going to. The floor gets way to hot in summer time to fish bare foot.
Hack Attack also has internal brakes .. same basic build as the KVD lfs just different color and knobs .. I'm not down with different colors on reels solid black looks great
Thanks for the video and info. -- I just ordered one of the FINN sun shirts, nice that they are made in the USA, good to support USA made items/companies when possible -- I enjoyed the opportunity to see/hear some of the things from the Fishing Expo
Dude!!! Yea-I bought the 7 in shad world and then put the rest of them in my cart in a tackle warehouse order. It looks like it is going to SLAY smallies up here in lake Champlain! My wife didn’t get it-I’m like….matte shad-MATTE shad….i got an eye roll. You get it man…hahaha
Yeah, kinda interesting how lie that's even out for several to many years. Somehow becomes more expensive eventhough nothing has changed really. Including the price of the product used to make it. Inflation Im told.mmmhmmmm
The Owner block heads ( ewg meds) work great on small jaws, greenies and spotted bass with no issues. Even caught a few carp, big catfish, gar and a few others . Never had any issues with them bending, or hook sets. Except the occasional hookset on a log. Which induces replacement of said Ned head
Great products and video-I actually hit up harbor freight for my graph protection due to the same reason-my graph bag STUNK lol. Thirty on sale are the Apache hard cases and they are super heavy duty. Work great to protect investment for sure
