New subscriber! I hope you reach your goal soon!! You talked about the puck lights and I wanted to mention battery operated lights from Amazon. They are super convenient with the remote and you can change the color & warmth!
@@ShesBasically yay!! Thanks for subscribing, welcome to the fam!! Okay great! I will check some of those out because I’m in need of some alternative options. :)
@@ShesBasically that sounds perfect. Thanks for clarifying! I’m definitely going to purchase those. If you have a brand that you recommend let me know :)
@@SaharaKnows thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I try my best to make sure I purchase things that I actually like and not just because it’s trendy. Thanks for watching ❤️
@@MommyLifeWithAdrienne aww thank you so much 😊 I appreciate you sharing that. And thanks so much for watching. I’m happy you found the channel. Let me know what kind of video topics you’d like to see. ❤️
@@AtHomeWithJuJu I honestly loved your thrifting videos because I’m a fellow bargain shopper but I’m also into interior decorating so your current content is great!👍 🙂
@@AtHomeWithJuJu there happened to be one left in the size I need for my tiny Livingroom and so took a huge leap ordering it because I was so inspired by your space. I pray it looks good because I’ve been stuck with how to decorate that space!
@@lynnstaton5732 Yay new subby! Hi Lynn. Thanks for watching. That’s so cool that thrifting is a part of your family. I’m sure you’ve learned some great tips 🙂
Great fall ideas. So many good products to choose from. Thx. I love the ottoman and ottomans. The plates are beautiful as well. Where can I get the salt and pepper shakers?
Thank you 🙏. So nice to know I’m not the only one who hates those in your face seasonal decorations. Off topic… I love the color of your room, may I ask what color it is?
I kinda think people should do what makes them happy. It’s their home. I don’t do the “in your face” fall decor either but I wouldn’t judge anyone or call their decor tacky if they do. 🤷🏻♀️
@@lauralou1073 I agree Laura. Thanks for watching. These are just my opinions on what ‘I’ think is stylish, it’s subjective. Ultimately, people should do what makes them happy. That’s most important :)
I am very much in agreement with you on avoiding the "pumpkin overload" that seems so common. This is what I do. I choose one, large heirloom-variety pumpkin and proudly display it a centerpiece on a table or credenza. I go to a farmers market that has a variety of different pumpkins. I make it an outdoor fall experience by selecting "the one". No extra store shopping. One large, significant, heirloom pumpkin has so much more impact than a bunch of little pumpkin knick knacks spread out everywhere. A large, uncut pumpkin easily lasts through Thanksgiving inside. (Remember, outdoor moisture is what usually hurries pumpkin rot.) Buying a real, heirloom pumpkin means I don't need extra space to store a fake pumpkin for many months, it looks real because it is real, and I can easily (and cheaply) change my look next fall with a different real pumpkin.
@@keith161 Hi! This is such a great point. I love that you do this and I had no idea that the outside air is what caused it to rot faster. Real is always better. Thanks for sharing and happy decorating! :) ❤️
@@AtHomeWithJuJu Thank you! Yes, excess moisture will hasten rotting of large, uncut pumpkins. I am not anti-faux pumpkin, but when I shop around, I see a lot of smaller pumpkin decor which, when bought, quickly leads to pumpkin kitschy overload, imo. I think one, big heirloom pumpkin gives a more refined, minimal, and tasteful nod to fall than spreading tiny pumpkins everywhere.
This was the video I needed today. In years past, I feel like I sometimes went overboard with the Fall decor and it never felt right. Your advice is spot-on. Thanks JuJu.
@@alexa39estrella oh yay! I’m so glad! Good luck on your search. If there’s something that comes up that stumps you, you can message me here and I may be able to help. Have fun hunting! :)
It is not that simple. People showing free items are actually charging. 90% do not indicate where they are located. If they ship it is only within the city they are in. They do not indicate if it is local pick up or shipped. You are more protected on eBay. If they do not ship you the item you are covered and will still get your money back.
@@thomasvantassel5259 Hey Thomas. Thanks for watching. You made great points! Shipping can be a huge downside on marketplace, I never use it for the reasons you mentioned. And yes, at times if an item is listed as free, it’s actually not, it’s just so you can click on the listing.
Absolutely love Facebook marketplace. We scored our kids play set for free on marketplace. And so many other great deals. But you’re right, you definitely have to learn and know how to utilize it best without being taken advantage of. Fortunately I haven’t had any run ins with scammers just yet. I use a lot of your tips and find they definitely help me weed out the phonies
