All are requesting konkan railway to provide LHB coaches as no one is considering about Karnataka konkan people rest all konkan states has LHB coaches only train 12619 /12620 and manglore express don't have it why this discrimination with us..As @konkan railway only give p priority to kerala state...

I still remember my first journey by Matsyagandha Superfast Express train in August 1998 ,then numbered 2620.Its scheduled departure from Surathkal railway station at 21:21 (9:21p.m.) and scheduled arrival at Thane railway station was 12:20 p.m. afternoon. There were only two passengers in my coach (compartment or bogie). The matsyaganda train was almost empty. The other passenger asked me whether train will move or get cancelled. I said irrespective of number of passengers train will make its journey. At that time there was no catering or pantry and only big stations like Udupi, Madgaon and Ratnagiri had refreshment stall open , we would get down from train to have tea and snacks. Train would stop fifteen to thirty minutes at these stations. This scenario continued till 2000 A.D as not many travelled in Konkan railway because of fear of getting stuck in tunnels and landslides. Today (2024 C.E.) the scene is completely changed, It is now very difficult to get berth in this train (12620 / 12619).
This train should be converted into sleeper vande Bharat and should be extended upto csmt and stops which are excluded in csmt mao vb express should be included like karmali kudal Chiplun etc.
Konkan Railway must Invest in Private Ports in Karnataka like Mangalore Port, Udupi Port & Shipyard, Honnavar Port, Belekere Port. Konkan Indian Railway Corporation Ltd ( KIRCL) should be formed. Konkan Railway must do High Speed Track Doubling Work to increase the Traffic in future. Many New Industries will come up in Coastal Area and Interior Karnataka in this way.
